Straight-tooth bevel gear parametric design and rapid prototype manufacturing

Take straight-tooth bevel gear as the research object, parametric design is made to the straight-tooth bevel gear by using of three-dimensional software Pro/Engineer through analyzing the relationship between every parameter of the straight-tooth bevel gear. The straight-tooth bevel gear after parameterization can be driven and quickly get different parameters bevel gear parts through changing all the appropriate parameters, which reflects the advantages of fast parametric design. As well as the rapid prototyping for straight-tooth bevel gear is manufactured, which rapid prototyping could provide macro-level model for companies in product pre-appraisal and reduce the cost & cycle in designing and manufacturing new product.

Points cloud data processing based on IMAGEWARE & mold design and rapid prototyping manufacturing

Take the ventilator as the object of study, elaborated the method which the reverse-engineering technology and the fast prototype technology unify. Using the IMAGEWARE software process the ventilator cloud data which obtained by three dimensional laser scanner surveys in reverse engineering. After cloud data processing, use the software Pro/E contracture the ventilator surface, and the ventilator full-scale mockup has been obtained. Simultaneously, the mould design has been carried on and the rapid prototype is manufactured in rapid prototyping machine to that ventilator blade. The obtained ventilator blade rapid prototype could have provided the macroscopic model and product development basis for new product development in pre-appraisal and the finite element analysis, and so on.

Notice of Retraction Experimental study on dynamic balance of a gantry spindle

Gantry spindle dynamic balance test which used SCHENCK-CAB699-H balancing measuring system made by German is introduced in the paper. The test showed the spindle balance method and step, which results indicated that the balance testing procedure is convenient and quick and unbalance amount is contracted to 60%. The unbalance amount satisfies the gantry spindle balance requirements. This dynamic balance method can instruct the spindle corporation test the dynamic balance of their spindle products.

Research on injection mold design based on Reverse Engineering

Combining Reverse Engineering technology with three-dimension molding software shortens the research cycle of new products. Using mechanical Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) gets phone shell point clouds, and those point clouds are treated by IMAGEWARE software, then gets the CAD model of phone shell. After that process, the phone shell injection mold is made by the using of the Pro/E software. Rapid injection mold design from the phone shell is achieved. Significantly, using reverse engineering technology shortens the research cycle of the new products and improves the competitive power of the corporation in the market during the process of injection part design and development.
