Hepatitis B vaccine adverse events in China: Risk control and regulation

The death of 17 children raised public fears over infant hepatitis B vaccination in China. Though the relation between hepatitis B and childrens death was denied after prudent investigation, the negative impact remained. In order to prevent or minimize adverse events after vaccination, special strategy including regulation and reimbursement should be developed.

Measles vaccination and prevention in big cities in China.

Despite the tremendous progress in controlling measles in China, there was measles outbreak in Beijing which was a result of cluster of unvaccinated people or people failure to vaccinate. In order to accelerate measles control efforts and achieve and high levels of measles immunity, it is helpful to implement more targeted management strategy.
