There are many uncertain problems in practical production and life which need decisions made with soft sets and fuzzy soft sets. However, the basis of evaluation of the decision method is single and simple, the same decision problem can obtain different results from using a different evaluation basis. In this paper, in order to obtain the right result, we discuss fuzzy soft set decision problems. A new algorithm based on grey relational analysis is presented. The evaluation bases of the new algorithm are multiple. There is more information in a decision result based on multiple evaluation bases, which is more easily accepted and logical to ones thinking. For the two cases examined, the results show that the new algorithm is efficient for solving decision problems.

This paper is concerned with the global adaptive harmony search (GAHS) algorithms for solving optimization problems. GAHS employs global information to the adaptive harmony search algorithm. The proposed GAHS algorithm is tested numerically and contrasted with improved harmony search (AHS) algorithm, and particle swarm optimization (PSO). Our simulation results reveal that GAHS is superior to AHS and PSO in terms of robustness and efficiency.

The normal parameter reduction in fuzzy soft sets is an efficient method to overcome the problem of suboptimal choice and added parameter set. However, the condition of redundant parameter is so strict that the number of deleting redundant parameter in fuzzy soft sets is very few, the effect of reduction is poor. In order to deleting more redundant parameters, the proximate normal parameter reduction in fuzzy soft sets is proposed, and the method is more efficient.

To study the network structure of optimal synchronizability with given node and edge number, we use simple graph to analyze the topology structure of the optimal synchronizability network. Then, the optimal network characteristic of N node N-1 edges, N edges, or N+1 edges are founded. Espectively, An approach to construct the optimal synchronizability network with N nodes and N+1 edges is presented for given node and edge number. And, it is found that the class optimal synchronizability network structure with three chains. Every chain size is as same as possible, that is, maximum and minimum chain the difference between the number of nodes is less than or equal to 1. Moreover, the difference between maximum degree and minimum degree is less than or equal to 1 in the network with N+1 edges. Then, an example is given to illustration the process of construction optimal network with N node and N+1 edges. At last, we discuss on the optimal network with N node and N+2 edges.

This paper is concerned with two cases of the normal parameter reduction in soft sets. Changing entries and adding objects in soft sets are analyzed. Then, we introduce the definition of positive and negative changed rates, and these properties are proposed. Furthermore, the theorems about normal parameter reduction are proposed after changing entries and adding objects in soft sets. And examples are provided to understand the above properties and theorems.

Inspired by the particle swarm optimization algorithm, the global information is added to the adaptive harmony search algorithm. The Global adaptive harmony search algorithm is proposed in this paper. Then five criteria are used to test the new algorithm. And its application to attribute reduction is given. The simulation result shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm.
