catena-Poly­[[(pyridin-4-ol-κN)silver(I)]-μ-pyridin-4-olato-κ2N:O]

The title complex, [Ag(C(5)H(4)NO)(C(5)H(5)NO)](n), consists of a polymeric neutral chain involving both a neutral pyridin-4-ol ligand and a deprotonated pyridin-4-olate monoanion. The Ag(I) atom shows a T-shaped coordination geometry, defined by one N atom of the pyridin-4-ol and one O and one N atom of two independent pyridin-4-olate bridges; the N-Ag-N moiety is approximately linear. The polymeric chains are connected via strong O-H...O hydrogen bonds and offset pi-pi interactions into a three-dimensional network.

Tetrakis(μ-acetato-κ2O:O′)­bis­[(4-pyridone-κO)copper(II)]

In the title centrosymmetric dinuclear complex, [Cu2(C2H3O2)4(C5H5NO)2], the two CuII atoms are bridged by four atetate groups, the Cu⋯Cu separation being 2.6468 (7) A. Each CuII atom exists in a square-pyramidal coordination environment defined by four carboxyl acetate O atoms and one 4-pyridone O atom. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds give rise to a two-dimensional layer structure.

Di­chloro­bis(4-pyridone-κO)­cobalt(II)

The Co atom in the title complex, [CoCl2(C5H5NO)2], has a distorted tetrahedral coordination involving two Cl− ions and two O atoms of two 4-pyridone ligands. The Co atom occupies a special position with twofold rotation symmetry. A layer structure is formed by N—H⋯Cl intermolecular hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions of adjacent pyridone rings.
