Screening plays an important part in coal processing and is widely used in preparation plants but traditional classifying screens encounter many problems. Here we look at the development of a high-viscosity, high-surface water, fine-grained coal screening solution with a linear vibration. banana flip-flow screen which brought many benefits.

The outlets of coal storage and feed containers in coal preparation and power plants are prone to blockages due to cohesion of the extruded materials. Such blockages threaten the plants normal, safe operation. To address this issue, Zheng Gangfeng and his colleagues have developed an automated multifunctional device designed to provide timely and efficient separation of outlet blockages.

Raw coal changes and quality requirements in China have meant that coal preparation plants are looking to improve their washing processes and flotation equipment. By doing this, one coal mine increased efficiencies of its clean coal filter press, recovery of flotation technique and coal slime content, improving its processing capacity.
