We investigate economic protocol to securely distribute and reconstruct a single-qubit quantum state between two users via a tripartite entangled state in cavity QED. Our scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field.

We investigate a scheme for implementing quantum dense coding via cavity decay and linear optics devices. Our scheme combines two distinct advantages: the atomic qubit serves as a stationary bit and the photonic qubit as a flying bit, thus it is suitable for long distant quantum communication.

A scheme for the generation of the cluster states based on the Josephson charge qubits is proposed. The two-qubit generation case is introduced first, and then generalized to multi-qubit case. The successful probability and fidelity of current multi-qubit cluster state are both 1.0. The scheme is simple and can be easily manipulated, because any two charge qubits can be selectively and effectively coupled by a common inductance. More manipulations can be realized before decoherence sets in. All the devices in the scheme are well within the current technology.

A scheme of implementing the Grover search algorithm based on Josephson charge qubits has been proposed, which would be a key step to scale more complex quantum algorithms and very important for constructing a real quantum computer via Josephson charge qubits. The present scheme is simple but fairly efficient, and easily manipulated because any two-charge-qubit can be selectively and effectively coupled by a common inductance. More manipulations can be carried out before decoherence sets in. Our scheme can be realized within the current technology.

We present a physical scheme for entanglement concentration of atomic entangled states via cavity QED. In our scheme cavity decay and atomic spontaneous emission are taken into consideration, and the atomic qubit is used as stationary qubit and photonic qubit as flying qubit, thus it is more practical to discuss entanglement concentration.

Schemes for the teleporting of the cavity mode state and the unknown atomic state are proposed in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) without joint Bell-state measurement (BSM). The presented schemes are implemented with separate atomic measurements instead of any type of joint measurement. The discussion of the scheme indicates that it can be realized by current technologies.
