A Smart Home Architecture Based on Concept Ontology

Man Dong Hu; Zhi Qiang Wei; Yan Ping Cong

The idea of smart home has been proposed for many years. However, the heterogeneity of device and data restricts the spread of it. Otherwise, the lack of underlying formal semantics between devices impedes the reusing and sharing classification across systems. We present a concept ontology in smart home which can capture the features of domain knowledge. A system architecture of smart home based on the concept ontology is constructed.

Research on Applied Technology in Human Action Recognition Based on Skeleton Information

Zhi Qiang Wei; Ji An Wu; Xi Wang

In order to realize the identification of human daily actions, a method of identifying human daily actions is realized in this paper, which transforms this problem into converting human action recognition into analyzing feature sequence. Then the feature sequence combined with improved LCS algorithm could realize the human actions recognition. Data analysis and experimental results show the recognition rate of this method is high and speed is fast, and this applied technology will have broad prospects.

An Information Collection and Transmission Strategy of Vehicle State-Aware System Based on OBD Technology and Android Mobile Terminals

Zhi Qiang Wei; Xiao Wen Wang; Dong Ning Jia; Hao Liu

To provide the Traffic Regulatory Authority with detailed driving status of vehicles when an accident occurs, this paper proposes an information collection and transmission strategy based on OBD technology and Android mobile terminals. This strategy records the representative detailed operation parameters and location information of traveling vehicles. It removes the drawbacks of server load existing in the conventional vehicle state-aware systems, due to collect and upload the data in real-time. At last, we achieve a highly efficient transmission process by compressing the uploaded data.

Zhao Jing Wang; Xue Bing Dai; Yan Zhang; Dong Ning Jia; Zhi Qiang Wei

we analyzed the fruits and the existing problems of the management of government information resources in China and abroad, studied the management system model of government information resources based on the model theory and the analysis method of the value chain, innovated and optimized the key technologies and standards concerning the links such as collection (acquisition), integration (warehousing), presentation (organization), sharing (exchange) and utilization (analysis) of information. We combined the fruits of theoretical research with the planning and construction of the sharing and management platform of government information resources and the government data opening platform of Qingdao and to realize highly integrated management in the whole process of sharing and utilization of government information resources. The fruits of research and construction will play an important role of reference in terms of theory and technology.

Research on Synchronization Model Based on Parallel Compression

Zhi Qiang Wei; Xiao Cheng Yang; Hao Liu; Yan Xiu Sheng; Xi Wang

In recent years, with the rapid development of mobile communication technology, intelligent mobile terminal tendency is increasingly popular. People are stepping into the era of mobile networks. Information systems created for enterprise or individual gradually rely on mobile networks and mobile devices. Because the mobile network is often interrupted, data synchronization working on the mobile network is very difficult. We put forward a model of the data synchronization in mobile network. JSON and data compression with parallel processing are introduced into the model. Thus, the model has high efficiency. It was applied to a companys Warehouse Management System and solved the problem of data synchronization preferably.

A Novel Deformable Grid Method for Image Segmentation

Xiao Dong Zhuang; Xiaopeng Ji; Zhi Qiang Wei

A physics-inspired deformable grid model is proposed for image structure representation. The attracting force between adjacent points is defined according to the gray-scale difference, which causes the grid to deform. The final grid shape after deformation can represent image structure, based on which a segmentation method is proposed. The experiments indicate the method’s effectiveness.

Ontology-Based Device Description Model in Smart Home

Man Dong Hu; Zhi Qiang Wei; Yu Jun Li; Xiao Dong Xing

We present an ontology-based device description model which abstracts the general information of device in smart home. And we use XML to describe the device model which could be understood by machine. The device model is not restricted by software platform and easy to be reused.

A Novel Virtual Vector Field Method for Image Segmentation Inspired by Physical Electro-Static Force

Xiao Dong Zhuang; Xiaopeng Ji; Zhi Qiang Wei; Han Ping Wang

A novel vector field transform is proposed for digital images, which is inspired by the electro-static analogy. By introducing the factor of gray-scale difference into the repulsion vector between image points, the diffusing vector field is obtained by the transform. A new image segmentation method is then presented based on the diffusing vector field. The experimental results have proved the method’s effectiveness.

Trust Management for One-Hop Cluster-Based Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks

Yan Ping Cong; Zhi Qiang Wei; Guang Yang

In this paper, we studied the trust management problem in one-hop cluster-based underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs). Trust plays an important role in constructing UWSNs. Due to the dynamic natures of UWSNs (current movement, addition or deletion of nodes) and the massive deployment of underwater sensor nodes, coupled with the short range of water acoustic communications, we need to ensure that all communicating nodes are trusted. We propose a hierarchical trust management scheme for one-hop cluster-based underwater wireless sensor networks.
