Recoil characteristics of an electromagnetic rail gun

In this paper the electromagnetic rail gun recoil is discussed and compared with the recoil of a conventional, propellant gas driven gun. It is shown that, under similar launch conditions, the recoil of an electromagnetic gun is weaker than that of the powder-driven gun. The use of a muzzle brake on a powder-driven gun can alter its recoil characteristics and make its behavior closer to that of the electromagnetic rail gun. .

Dynamic analysis of a model of the mortar base plate applying the Proengineer software

A mechanical model of the mortar base plate is modeled using the Pro/Engineer Wildfire software. The manufactured model of the plate is fully functional and real. The structural stress and strain analysis of the mortar plate during firing has also been carried out. The obtained results of the simulation have been compared with the experimental data and the calculation results obtained by classical methods. The deviation values are thus established and the model quality assessed. .

Školovanje oficira tehničke službe

Radi skolovanja kadra za Tehnicku službu, u skladu sa savremenim i perspektivnim potrebama Armije, naredbom DSNO od 23. jula 1953. godine osnovan je Tehnicki skolski centar (TSC) KoV JNA. Artiljerijsko vojnotehnicko uciliste i Automobilska oficirska skola, u cijem sastavu je bila i Automobilska tehnicka podoficirska skola, bile su jezgro iz kojeg su se formirali Vojnotehnicka akademija (VTA) i Tehnicka podoficirska skola (TPS) dve stalne skole TSC, kao i skole za usavrsavanje i kursevi.
