Abstract Six species belonging to the genera Ceruana, Conyza, Conyzanthus and Grangea , tribe Astereae (Compositae), were investigated for their flavonoids. Glycosides identified were found to belong to the aglycones kaempferol, quercetin, luteolin, scutellarein and hispidulin. The chemosystematic relationships are discussed.
