PELATIHAN PENGELOLAAN INFORMASI YANG MEMILIKI NILAI BERITA BAGI APARATUR SIPIL NEGARA KABUPATEN PANGANDARAN TAHUN 2016

The natural resources potential at Pangandaran has become strategic since its status as a district is definitive. Being a new district, Pangandaran has a number of challenges that must be faced in the era of free trade that is getting closer. That is, it requires qualified skills from the government officials. One of these skills is related to information management for the public. The purpose of this community service is to describe and explain how to improve the knowledge and skills of civil servants engaged in the field of information services in Pangandaran district, especially those related to information management techniques that have news value. The implementation of community service was conducted by lecture, question and answer, and simulation. The results of the activities show that state civil servants engaged in information services for the community in Pangandaran district did not appear to have sufficient knowledge and skills in terms of information management needed by the community. This is evident from the lack of information on the website in government agencies regarding the updating of activities in the district of Pangandaran. Based on our community service activities, we conclude that there has been an increase in knowledge and skills shown by the many questions and discussions of participants on how to find, manage and pack information into valuable news needed by the community. It is suggested that the implementation of community service activities should be in the form of assistance so that speakers would be able to inculcate the values of professionalism in the management of information that is important for the community in Pangandaran district through continuous capacity building and empowerment of professional civil servants in the field of communication.

Social Media and Reproductive Health - Communication Model of Adolescent Reproductive Health in Social Media

Communication via social media has created a positive output on information dissemination in every aspect of life, including health. One of the social media functions is to support development by empowering the public in taking care of their own health and welfare. It is essential to develop an effective communication model for disseminating information on adolescent reproductive health. The rapid growth in the number of health reproductive information portals in the social media, the circumstances are creating a high selectivity on the right and correct information needed for the adolescent based on the particular condition in each region.

Teachers' Problematic In Disseminating Information On Sex Education for Adolescents with Disabilities Through Mass Media

Schools, as education institutions have an important role in educational efforts, including education about health reproductive for their students. As a specialized educational institution for students with intellectual disability, SLB C has its own challenges in providing education about reproductive health. Whereas in SLB C equivalent to Junior High School level, the students have entered the age of puberty. On the other hand, the pattern of education conducted by the SLB cannot be made only to the student, but also to the parents of the students, because consider to the students with the intellectual disability has a different understanding ability. Some teachers are hoping to be able to disseminate information relating to the reproductive health education for teenagers with the intellectual disability through the mass media, to be accessible directly by parents who have children with special needs. However, there are a few problems still become the constraint, so that those activities have not been implemented optimally. Therefore, this research aims to do mapping with respect to the problems encountered by the school in conducting information dissemination concerning education about reproductive health education for disability teenagers through the mass media. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the techniques of data collection through interviews and observations. As for the results obtained include: technical barriers, consisting of scientific articles technical writing and article technical submissions to the mass media; as well as psychological barriers perceived by the teachers in information dissemination through the mass media.

FUNGSI HUMAS PEMERINTAH KABUPATEN SUMEDANG DALAM MENGKAMPANYEKAN SUMEDANG SEBAGAI PUSEUR BUDAYA SUNDA (SPBS)

Abtract, Regional autonomy gives opportunity to the leadership of the district/city to build a territory independently and energized. Sumedang as an autonomous region PR utilize the functionality of territory in the development process in order to improve or maintain the perception, image and reputation of both material and immaterial development of the public. The technique of communications made Sumedang Government Relations ie through the use of a public campaign to strengthen city branding as a cultural center in West Java. Key Word: Rigional Autonomy, Public Relations Function and City Branding Abstrak, Adanya otonomi daerah memberikan peluang kepada pimpinan kabupaten/kota untuk membangun wilayahnya secara mandiri dan berdayasaing. Sumedang sebagai daerah otonomi memanfaatkan fungsi Humas pada proses pembangunan wilayahnya dalam rangka meningkatkan maupun mempertahankan persepsi, citra dan reputasi pembangunan secara materi maupun immateri dari publiknya. Adapun teknik komunikasi yang dilakukan Humas Pemerintah Kabupaten Sumedang yaitu melalui pemanfaatan kampanye publik dalam menguatkan city branding sebagai pusat budaya di Jawa Barat.
