A total 110 studies reviewed to clarify social commerce concept using per-defined review protocol. We identify three main characteristics of social commerce that distinguish the term from e-commerce.We highlighted the research themes that have been addressed in previous studies. The results of the review highlighted the limitation and the gaps in the previous studies in three main aspects (theoretical, customer and design aspects). Web 2.0 technologies and social media gave a rise to social commerce as a new phenomenon in the business world. Recently, social commerce gained a major attention from both academics and practitioners. Numerous studies have been conducted to understand s-commerce and examine its impact. Since 2010 the published studies on s-commerce increased, but little attempt has been made to incorporate the findings of former surveys and assess the current state of the research in this field. In this study, we conducted a systematic review of s-commerce research, to explore the term s-commerce by collecting, reviewing and synthesizing studies that related to s-commerce published from 2010 to 2015. By following review protocol which integrated two stages (automatic and manual) to cover all studies in this period, we identified 110 studies which address s-commerce. The results show that the studies that addressing s-commerce increased during the last 6 years. We observed that the current studies covered numerous research themes under s-commerce, such as user behavior, business models, s-commerce website design, adoption strategy, social process network analysis and firm performance. Most of these studies focus on user behavior and website design, while other themes gained little attention; therefore, this study highlights direction for further research. This review reveals s-commerce to be a promising new area of research, showing a new paradigm of conducting commerce using social media to reach customers and their networked friends. Discussion of this and conclusion have been highlighted.

Trust is a crucial element to the success of e-commerce implementation. The research on the concept of trust has emerged rapidly due to the need of understanding trust in order to improve current and future e-commerce implementation. Although there are various researches conducted focusing on different aspect of trust, there are only few that provide a practical guideline to build a trusted e-commerce website. This research aims to find a practical solution on how to integrate trust during the development process of an e-commerce website and to test the constructed website in a real world situation. It will also propose a model that shows how consumer trust is developed and communicated during the engagement of consumers in e-commerce activities. This research found that there are six categories of trust mechanisms that web merchants can adopt in order to integrate trust in their website. It will provide well tested guidelines for web merchants to understand about consumer trust in order for them to design and develop a secure and trusted e-commerce website.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) projects implementation have been popular in the organizations and during three consecutive years, CRM related issues were in the top nine lists most concern for the chief executive officers in the USA because failure rate of IT project implementation is quite high. In reality, there have been many failed CRM projects. According to previous literatures, failure rate is between 30% and 70%. Although many investigations had been done on Critical Success Factors (CSF) and were produced long list of CSFs and Critical failure factors (CFF), but guidance in this era is very little and need more study. Specifically, more powerful theoretical models of CRM system implementation are needed for managers to get better understanding of the success factors. To this end, current article focused on organizational CRM implementation success factors in hospital and proposed a model to clarify the potential risk by reviewing and introducing effective success factors for implementing CRM. This paper zoomed on the organizational factors and software and patient factors are considered for further work. Practical investigations are needed to validate proposed model.

The environmental effects of Information Technology (IT) and business sustainability have been a catalyst for the growth of Green IT. This growth has resulted in a considerable amount of attention from business practitioners, Information System (IS) researchers and politicians in the field. Many researchers from different academic backgrounds have attempted to investigate and understand the concepts of Green IT, from both the individual and the organizational perspectives. However, few attempts have been made to incorporate the findings of previous surveys and to assess the current state of research in this field. In this research, we conduct a literature review to examine Green IT research to gain a better understanding of the Green IT field between 2007 and 2016. We categorize the published papers and present some novel research opportunities and areas that need to be developed. To provide extensive quantitative and qualitative results, we follow a review protocol integrating two different stages (automatic and manual) and cover all of the studies from this period. Accordingly, from the review study, we identify 131 papers addressing Green IT that were reviewed to extract relevant information on a set of research questions. We observe that the current studies cover numerous research themes under Green IT research, particularly initiation, approaches and strategies, the adoption framework, and benefits, with other themes gaining scarce attention. By presenting research questions, we aid scholars in determining rigorous academic research directions for studying this phenomenon. The results of this study provide a roadmap to guide future studies on Green IT and highlight directions for the successful implementation of Green IT in organizations.

ABSTRACT Research on the CRM implementation link has been fragmented due to various perspectives on CRM, especially in hospitals. Literatures show that comprehensive research on CRM implementation in healthcare is quite inadequate and lag in the hospitals in terms of IT technology implementation exist. In this study, different perspectives of the CRM implementation were reviewed. Furthermore, in order to prioritize CRM implementation perspectives, 35 high experience experts in the hospital information system, clinical information system, hospital’s chief information technology officer and hospital’s chief execute officer in Malaysia, Kuwait and Iran were interviewed. The empirical work in three developing countries indicates that resource, management, CRM application system, employees and patient perspectives have the highest to lowest impact. Moreover, results of the interviews showed that unlike regular customers in organizations and companies, patient’s involvement as a customer, had not been a considerable impact on success and failure of CRM implementation in the hospital of the developing countries. In addition, lack of measurement models pushed CRM projects to the higher risk.

AbstractMost sectors of the economy like the universities, high-tech, financial services, and government institutions have data center. However, there are some issues which encompass current data center such as physical location, energy consumption, performance, flexibility. Big organizations like Google, IBM have migrated toward cloud computing, and using cloud data center as the most cost efficient alternative to the current data center. Cloud computing is a model that provides suitable and on-demand access to a VKDUHG SRRO RI FRQ?JXUDEOH FRPSXWLQJ UHVRXUFHV, EXW unfortunately, it has some attendant problems like security issue, lack of proper policy and standardization. Therefore, in spite of the provision of all the benefits of cloud computing, such as cost reduction, flexibility, easy implementation and accessibility, some organisations are suspected to move toward cloud computing data center. Therefore, the main focus of this paper is to determine the critical success factors for the adoption of clo...

Cloud computing provides a large pool of accessible resources (hardware, platform, software) in a form of services. It became a cost effective alternative to the traditional IT infrastructure. Nowadays, as more and more e-commerce companies delegate their task to cloud providers, Services Level Agreement (SLA) became an important aspect between the cloud consumer and cloud provider, the dynamic nature of cloud computing needs to continue monitoring of the services. The restricted choice of appropriate parameters in SLA affects the interacting of end user with cloud services and creates risks of user data. End users are concerned about their data and how it will be stored in cloud and how the data is recovered in the case of failure of disaster. However, none of SLAs consider the end user view while conducting the SLA document. In this paper, we reviewed the existing SLA framework in cloud computing and introduced SLA framework for e-commerce cloud based on WSLA lifecycle. In this paper, a list most appropriate parameters and objectives which should be included in the SLA are provided to alleviate the risks facing the e-commerce cloud end user. The proposed framework may provide holistic guarantee for the end user to interact with ecommerce cloud websites.

There is a need to address issues related to IS integration since integration are essential to organizations to move forward and supporting their business functions. However, there is no tool available to assess the complexity of IS integration, before thinking of measuring the success of integration initiative. If we can device a framework that depict the scenario of IS integration in organisation, it will be the first step to assist organisation understanding the IS integration status, whether they are on the right track, knowing what they are lacking of to proceed with integration, and whether they are using the right technology as solution to their integration problems. Thus, a construction of complexity model that depict the IS integration scenarios is proposed to assist in assessment of IS integration project.

Abstract Customer Knowledge Management (CKM) plays an important role in the production of high quality software products. As CKM in Enterprise Software (ES) development is still immature, this raises questions on how CKM enablers can be used to help ES development companies improve their software quality. In this study, Human, Organizational and Technological CKM enablers were identified from the literature. The weights of these factors were determined by experts from the ES development companies. Based on the most important factors, a theoretical model was developed. The proposed model was evaluated by distributing a survey questionnaire to decision-makers in ES development companies. The results showed that “Customer Involvement” together with “Trust” were the most influential factors, followed by “CRM Technology Infrastructure” and “Cross-Functional Cooperation”. In addition, there was no impact from “Organizational Training”, “Customer Knowledge Map”, and “CKM Strategy Development”. The results also revealed that the impact of CKM on software quality is significant. The proposed model in this study can be used as a guideline for the successful application of CKM in ES development companies to improve the software quality.
