The paper describes a technique, based on the use of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), for the diagnosis of multiple faults in digital circuits. The technique utilises different quantities of randomly selected circuit test data derived from a fault truth table, which is constructed by inserting random single stuck-at faults in the circuit. The paper describes the diagnostic procedure using the technique, the ANN architecture and results obtained with example circuits. Our results demonstrate that when the test data selection procedure is guided by test vectors of the circuit a compact, efficient and flexible ANN architecture is achieved.

In the present investigation, the data sets of (Non Communicable Diseases) NCD risk factors a standard report of Saudi Arabia 2005 in collaboration with World Health Organisation have been employed for regression analysis using data mining technique and that leads to the prediction of which treatment contributes more to improvement in hypertension. The Oracle Data Miner (ODM) tool has been used for the analysis of data. The data sets for different age groups in case of blood pressure treatment for hypertension for Male using different modes have been studied. The age group is in between of 15 years to 64 years. Data mining is an appropriate and sufficiently sensitive method to analyze outcomes of which mode of treatment is more effective to which age group. The Oracle data miner predicts the best mode of treatment for each group by which one can analyse the appropriate treatment. The predictions are also been compared with the help of residual plots. The residual graphs have been correlated with the predictions.

The file carving is one of the methods in data recovery from corrupted or damaged hard disk drives(HDD). Numerous open source commercial tools with different features are available in the market. In the present work an attempt was made for file carving with two different methods: 1) File carving from hard disk drive directly and 2) File carving from disk image. In this investigation the file carving tool PhotoRec and disk imaging tools such as Gddrescue, safecopy were used. Quiet a significant improvement in data recovery was found in case of file carving from disk image method. All most 1GB more data was resulted in file carving through disk image when compared with that of targeted HDD directly.

Distributed Denial of Services (DDoS) is a ruthless attack that targets a node or a medium with its false packets to decline the network performance and its resources. Neural networks is a powerful tool to defend a network from this attack as in our proposed solution a mitigation process is invoked when an attack is detected by the detection system using the known patters which separate the legitimate traffic from malicious traffic that were given to artificial neural networks during its training process. In this research article, we have proposed a DDoS detection system using artificial neural networks that will flag (mark) malicious and genuine data traffic and will save network from losing performance. We have compared and evaluated our proposed system on the basis of precision, sensitivity and accuracy with the existing models of the related work.

this paper describes the implementation of an AMBA Based Advanced DMA Controller for SoC. It uses AMBA Specifications, where two buses AHB and APB are defined and works for processor as system bus and peripheral bus respectively. The DMA controller functions between these two buses as a bridge and allow them to work concurrently. Depending on the speed of peripherals it uses buffering mechanism. Therefore an asynchronous FIFO is used for synchronizing the speed of peripherals. The proposed DMA controller can works in SoC along with processor and achieve fast data rate. The method introduced significant volume of data transfer with very low timing characteristics. Thus it is a better choice in respect of timing and volume of data. These two issues have been resolved under this research study. The results are compared with the AMD processors, like Geode GX 466, GX 500 and GX 533, and the presence and absence of DMA controller with processor is discussed and compared. The DMAC stands to be better alternative in SoC design.
