Faunistic records of 100 species of Opiinae are given mainly for Turkey. Of these, 88 species are reported asnew for Turkey. The general distribution and known hosts of the taxa are added. Four species: Opius (Agnopius) rugatus Fischer, O. (Agnopius) selimbassai Fischer, O. (Nosopoea) cingutolicus Fischer and O. (Odontopoea)metanivens are probably endemic to Asia Minor.

The distribution of Vipio Latreille, 1804 species (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) within eight phytogeographical provinces in Turkey is presented on the basis of field studies during 1980–2004. A total of twelve species were found, and the majority of species were associated with the Subeuxin, Euxin, Xeroeuxin and Mediterranean provinces. Vipio humerator (Costa, 1885), V. longicauda (Boheman, 1853) and V. tentator (Rossi, 1790) were the most common species in Turkey, and V. mlokossewiczi Kokoujev, 1898 is a new record for the Turkish fauna. An identification key is provided for 18 species of Vipio from Turkey and adjacent regions with relevant figures of the wings and metasoma.

Glyptomorpha baetica, G. discolor, G. gracilis, G. kasparyani, and G. pectoralis are recorded from Turkey. Glyptomorhpa baetica is new to the Turkish fauna. It was reared from a new host Sesamia nonagrioides (Noctuidae, Lepidoptera) and was redescribed. Its diagnostic characters are illustrated. An identification key is provided for nine species of Glyptomorpha of Turkey and adjacent regions. Distribution of each species is added.

During the studies on the Turkish Braconidae, a new species Bracon (Lucobracon) iskilipus sp. n. from the Turkish Central Black Sea region was recorded. Bracon (Lucobracon) iskilipus sp. n. was described, its morphological diagnostic characters were illustrated and it was compared with the related Bracon (Lucobracon) moczari Papp.

Our studies on Bracon F. fauna of Turkey started in 1979 and 107 species have been determined so far belonging to the subgenera Habrobracon Ashmead, Asiabracon Tobias, Rostrobracon Tobias, Bracon Fahringer, Cyanopterobracon Tobias, Glabrobracon Fahringer and Lucobracon Fahringer. Thirteen new Bracon species were published from Turkey. With this present study Bracon (Lucobracon) achterbergi Beyarslan sp. n. is described and its diagnostic characters are illustrated. The distribution of Bracon species are discussed according to the Euxin, Subeuxin, Mediterranean, Xeroeuxin, Iran Steppe, Anatolia Steppe, Central Anatolia Steppe and Mesopotamian Steppe phytogeographical provinces of Turkey.

Larvae of the cereal leaf minerSyringopais temperatella Led. (Lep.: Scythridae) collected from wheat and barley fields in the southeast Anatolian region of Turkey during 2005–2006, and their parasitization rates, were determined in the laboratory,Bracon (Habrobracon) stabilis Wesmael andApanteles sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) were identified as its parasitoids for the first time.

Abstract The parasitoid complex of white-spotted pinion Cosmia diffinis (Linnaeus, 1767) larvae (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) feeding on Ulmus minor in Edirne was studied during the two-year period of 2007–2008. The determined parasitoids were Meteorus colon (Haliday, 1835) and Meteorus rufus (DeGeer, 1778) from Braconidae; Gelis areator (Panzer, 1804), Itoplectis clavicornis (Thomson, 1889) and Phobocampe lymantriae Gupta, 1983 from Ichneumonidae; Brachymeria secundaria (Ruschka, 1922) from Chalcididae; Euplectrus liparidis Ferrière, 1941 from Eulophidae and members of Tachinidae. We report here a new host-parasitoid relationship of C. diffinis with M. colon, M. rufus, I. clavicornis, P. lymantriae, and E. liparidis. The hyperparasitism of G. areator and B. secundaria on parasitoid Meteorus species of Cosmia diffinis is also reported. In addition, M. colon, I. clavicornis, G. areator, P. lymantriae and E. liparidis were determined as new records for Turkey.

This study was carried out to determine the species of the genus Opius Wesmael, 1835 in Hormozgan province (Southern Iran). Malaise traps and sweep nets were used to obtain adult specimens from various habitats in Hormozgan province during 2011-2013. Fifteen species from the genus Opius belonging to ten subgenera were collected. The subgenera Merotrachys Fischer, 1972 and Opiostomus Fischer, 1972 and eleven species are recorded for the first time from Iran: Opius (Agnopius) nowakowskii Fischer, 1959; Opius (Agnopius) novosimilis Fischer, 1989, Opius (Allophlebus) staryi Fischer, 1958; Opius (Allotypus) damnosus Papp, 1980; Opius (Opiostomus) riphaeus Tobias, 1986; Opius (Opiothorax) minusculae Fischer, 1967; Opius (Pendopius) bajariae Fischer, 1989; Opius (Merotrachys) penetrator Fischer 1966; Opius (Hypocynodus) flavipes Szepligeti, 1898; Opius (Hypocynodus) latidens Fischer, 1990 and Opius (Hypocynodus) latipediformis Fischer 2004. A key for identification of Opius species from southern Iran is provided.

SixBassus species were recorded for the first time in Turkey:B. calculator (Fabricius, 1798),B. cingulipes (Nees, 1814),B. conspicuus (Wesmael, 1837),B. graecus Achterberg, 1992,B. rugulosus (Needs, 1834) andB. zaykovi (Nixon, 1986). By adding these new records, the number ofBassus species in Turkey has been raısed from seven to 13. Distribution and known hosts are given.
