Bound state solutions of d-dimensional Schrödinger equation with Eckart potential plus modified deformed Hylleraas potential

Akpan N. Ikot; Oladunjoye A. Awoga; Akaninyene D. Antia

We study the d-dimensional Schrodinger equation for Eckart plus modified deformed Hylleraas potentials using the generalized parametric form of Nikiforov—Uvarov method. We obtain energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave function expressed in terms of a Jacobi polynomial. We also discuss two special cases of this potential comprised of the Hulthen potential and the Rosen—Morse potential in three dimensions. Numerical results are also computed for the energy spectrum and the potentials.

Bound-State Solutions of the Klein-Gordon Equation with -Deformed Equal Scalar and Vector Eckart Potential Using a Newly Improved Approximation Scheme

Ita O. Akpan; Akaninyene D. Antia; Akpan N. Ikot

We present the analytical solutions of the Klein-Gordon equation for q-deformed equal vector and scalar Eckart potential for arbitrary -state. We obtain the energy spectrum and the corresponding unnormalized wave function expressed in terms of the Jacobi polynomial. We also discussed the special cases of the potential.

Generalized tensor interaction and relativistic spin and pseudospin symmetries with the Manning-Rosen potential

Akpan N. Ikot; H. Hassanabadi; B. H. Yazarloo; Akaninyene D. Antia; S. Zarrinkamar

We have investigated the Manning-Rosen potential under the framework of spin and pseudospin symmetries with generalized tensor interaction (GTI) using the parametric generalization of Nikiforov-Uvarovmethod. We have obtained the energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunction. We have also reported some numerical results and figures to show the effect of tensor interaction. The role of GTI is investigated in details. It is seen that the degenerate doublets in spin and pseudospin are changed due to the presence of GTI.

Relativistic Treatment of Massive Klein-Gordon Particle by Modified Generalized Hulthen Potential

Akaninyene D. Antia; Imeh E. Essien; Joseph G. Atat

Abstract: Approximate bound state solutions of spinless particles with a special case of equal scalar and vector modified generalized Hulthen potential has been obtained under the massive Klein-Gordon equation. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions expressed in terms of a Jacobi polynomial are also obtained using the parametric generalization of the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. Under limiting cases our result are in agreement with the existing literature. Our results could be used to study the interactions and binding energies of the central potential for diatomic molecules in the relativistic framework which have many applications in physics and some others related disciplines.
