Because of the spread of using social networking service in various situations, it is becoming easier to transmit information. However, the communication channel of SNS has some negative aspects like a lack of rich expressions of information compared to the communication channel of face-to-face (FTF). Also, in the FTF communication environment, it is necessary to improve a limitation of room or costs of moving to a place. In recent years, under the influence of future uncertainty, much attention has been paid to group decision-making based on discussion as one side of democracy. Deliberation Democracy is one of them. From the viewpoint of information communication technology and deliberation democracy, we will consider effective utilization of Deliberation Support System. In this paper, it is targeted the citizen deliberation or dialogue or discussion. We analyzed that the difference of Communications with the Social Media and FTF type. We clarified the difference of the communications frequency and the content between participants and viewers. As a result, when the case not done was compared when social media were used, a synchronous number of conversations (conversation rates) obtained the difference (93.6% (social media use), 67.6% (Do not use it)). Therefore, social media are used, their active was clarified. Moreover, it was clarified that the extension of the discussion that had been occasionally expressed only by the discussion between the performers tended to be brought by the viewer in the analysis of a qualitative content.

Control of vehicle movement on the road traffic

Akinori Minazuki; Taketoshi Yoshida; Susumu Kunifuji

The research of ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) is worldwide. In our research we constructs the model of needs (optimization of traffic flow) in development areas (optimization of traffic management) which is one of the development fields. Based on the traffic concentration, the extent of the congestion varies. The extent of the congestion can be predicted using a model based on the Brownian motion process. The control algorithm of traffic flow is constructed with the recurrence property of a Brownian motion and Martingale property of the stochastic process. To calculate in finite intervals, it approximates by the probability differential equation from the definition of the Ito integration.

A Study on Education of Exploration and Exploitation Based on Analysis of Global Intellectual Property Strategy

Yawen Huang; Akinori Minazuki; Hidehiko Hayashi

This study considers the required capacity and education for the students who majoring in management information through describing the patent analysis of the company and the idea creation and prototypic implementation at classroom practice. This patent analysis of the company is a single case study of Hon Hai Precision which has received much attention in recent years. During the classroom practices, we put the idea creation called Idea Sketching into practice. Moreover, we practice prototypic implementation at the seminar which focusing on the knowledge based in the industrial technologies. In the light of the intellectual property strategies and the trend of information technology, we consider above and refer to the education which applied the practice of Exploration and Exploitation of knowledge to classroom. We insist that bringing up the person with talent on innovation is important for our countrys education system and then suggest the required capacity and education for the students who majoring in management information. Moreover, we discovered the new direction to connect the knowledge in practice and college education, and found out the useful insights for both industrial and educational world through the light of the intellectual property strategies in companies.

Development and Practice of Civil Activity Support System by Information Visualization Technology for Disseminating Social Innovation

Rinka Kashimura; Toshiko Asai; Emi Higashi; Yukiko Minazuki; Akinori Minazuki; Hidehiko Hayashi

In recent years, we have developed various social support systems that promote civic participation, and we have also researched civic actions using such a support system. For example, we have developed a technology platform that promotes a hand hygiene or accurately implements cardiopulmonary resuscitation, or promotes civic participation in politics. These systems share one characteristic, a use of an information visualization technology like AR (Augmented Reality) or SNS. In this paper, we will focus on this information visualization and discuss civic activities and possible expectancies of the effects of these systems on civic activities as well as the development of a framework that promotes civic activities. We will also consider a practice of civic activities as social innovation and discuss the role and the process of social innovation. In the six stages of social innovation, we will particularly focus on the promoting process of social innovation actions for which we will focus on the support for the civic activities by the general public, not by the experts. We will discuss our views on the future of social innovation.
