In a laser with the cavity, formed by the mirrors with thermal non-linearity, in some conditions the moving transverse spatial structures can occur. In this report, on the base of computer simulation, the analyses of dynamics of such structures have been performed for two cases: for the cavity with one non-linear mirror with dR/dT > 0 and for the conjugate cavity with two non-linear mirrors which have dR/dT of different signs. In the example of TEA-CO2 laser with light-controlled vanadium dioxide mirrors, we have shown that in the first case intracavity interaction of radiation with the non-linear mirror makes possible the control of shape and duration of leading edge of laser pulse and laser mode composition. In the second case one can obtain the regime of directed movement of laser action region with the velocity of 5 - 50 mm/microsecond(s) , which can be used in scan laser systems. The influence of optical and thermal parameters of non-linear mirrors on the laser action dynamics is discussed.

The results of an experimental research of action of the intensive mid IR-range pulse-periodic laser radiation on VO2-mirrors are represented. The damage thresholds of VO2-mirrors are defined for pulse-periodic and continuous radiation and the analysis of the mechanism of their destruction is carried out. The results of numerical simulation of dynamics of switching of VO2-mirrors under the action of pulse-periodic radiation are presented.

We performed the analyze of principles of wide-band VO2- mirrors creation for mid-IR (2.5 - 12 micrometers ) laser radiation control. It was shown, that the choice of interference system of VO2-mirror makes possible to extend region of maximum reflection change up to 1 - 2 (mu) . Calculations and experimental results are presented for mirrors with dR/d>0 and <0 with the change of reflection coefficient from 0.1 up to 94 - 98%.

The abilities of TEA-CO2 laser controlling by LC modulators have been investigated. It is shown, that beam direction, beam profile, energy and time position of the pulse can be controlled by LC modulators. Some problems of interaction of radiation with LC are discussed.

It has been found, that the main process, responsible for the frequency shift of hybrid CO2-electron beam laser generation with a pulse duration of more than 10 microsecond(s) is the thermal self-action of radiation. The possibilities of frequency shift decreasing at the expense of self-action decay by active medium optimization are demonstrated.
