The article considers the model and method of converged computing and storage to create SCADA systems based on wireless networks for the energy industry. Computing power of modern wireless sensor network nodes allow the transfer to them some operations sensor data mining and offload the dispatching data centre servers. This fog computing model is used for the aggregation of primary data, forecast trends controlled variables as well as to warn about abnormal and emergency situations on distributed SCADA systems objects. Large arrays of sensor data, integral indicators and heterogeneous information from other sources (e.g., weather stations, security and fire alarm systems, video surveillance systems, etc.) is more appropriate to process via GRID computing model. GRID computing model has three-tier architecture, which includes the main server at the first level, a cluster of servers at the second level, and a lot of GPU video card with support for Compute Unified Device Architecture at the third level. The model of cloud computing and cloud storage today is the basis for the accumulation of the results of data mining and knowledge discovery. Means of communication and remote access can solve the problem of intellectual processing and visualization of information with elements of augmented reality and geo-information technologies within the framework of mobile computing model. The implementation of these four computing models for the operation of components of SCADA system is the convergent approach to distributed sensor data processing, which is discussed in the article.

This scientific paper delves into the problems related to the development of intellectual data analysis system that could support decision making to manage municipal power supply services. The management problems of municipal power supply system have been specified taking into consideration modern tendencies shown by new technologies that allow for an increase in the energy efficiency. The analysis findings of the system problems related to the integrated computer-aided control of the power supply for the city have been given. The consideration was given to the hierarchy-level management decomposition model. The objective task targeted at an increase in the energy efficiency to minimize expenditures and energy losses during the generation and transportation of energy carriers to the Consumer, the optimization of power consumption at the prescribed level of the reliability of pipelines and networks and the satisfaction of Consumers has been defined. To optimize the support of the decision making a new approach to the monitoring of engineering systems and technological processes related to the energy consumption and transportation using the technologies of geospatial analysis and Knowledge Discovery in databases (KDD) has been proposed. The data acquisition for analytical problems is realized in the wireless heterogeneous medium, which includes soft-touch VPN segments of ZigBee technology realizing the 6LoWPAN standard over the IEEE 802.15.4 standard and also the segments of the networks of cellular communications. JBoss Application Server is used as a server-based platform for the operation of the tools used for the retrieval of data collected from sensor nodes, PLC and energy consumption record devices. The KDD tools are developed using Java Enterprise Edition platform and Spring and ORM Hibernate technologies. To structure very large data arrays we proposed to organize data in the form of hyper tables and to use the Compute Unified Device Architecture technology.

This paper discusses tools for secure sensor data collection, transmis- sion and data mining received from heat metering devices in urban heat supply SCADA system. The effectiveness of supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA) for energy data mining depends on the applied protection technologies of transport environment components. The connection between the heating stations and the dispatch center is established to ensure secure data transmission using virtual private wireless sensor networks (WSN) and secure channels cellular network. The article considers the problems and objectives of key management for data encryption in wireless sensor networks (WSN) of SCADA systems. Three algorithms of hybrid key management using routing in- formation frames determined by routing methods and the WSN topology are presented. Data mining from the hypercube tools are developed on Java Enter- prise Edition platform using Spring and ORM Hibernate technologies. JBoss Application server is used as a server platform in the SCADA system.

In the article, the issues of monitoring the road transport infrastructure based on a distributed network of photoradar complexes for fixing traffic accidents have been considered. This paper discusses tools for collection of road accident’s photo and video data fixation, data mining and forecasting of transport incidents, depending on various factors (meteorological, social, operational, etc.). The connection between the complexes and the data processing center is established to ensure secure data transmission using a heterogeneous transport network. In the process of monitoring, tasks of spatial and intellectual analysis, evaluation, and forecasting of traffic accidents and transport situations for preventive response, notification and warning road users are solved. The monitoring system is an integral part of Smart Road intellectual environment within the framework of the Smart & Safe City concept. A multi-agent model of convergent data processing is implemented for big sensor data, which integrates cloud, fog, and mobile computing technologies.

The article considers the problems and objectives of key management for data encryption in wireless sensor networks (WSN) of SCADA systems. The structure of the key information in the ZigBee network and methods of keys obtaining are discussed. The use of a hybrid key management schemes is most suitable for WSN. The session symmetric key is used to encrypt the sensor data, asymmetric keys are used to encrypt the session key transmitted from the routing information. Three algorithms of hybrid key management using routing information frames determined by routing methods and the WSN topology are presented.
