Herein we report a feasible study concerning syntheses, structure and antimicrobial activity of some new diazinium salts with dihydroxyacetophenone skeleton. A fast, general, environmentally friendly, and facile method for preparation of diazinium salts under microwave and ultrasounds irradiation is presented. Antimicrobial tests prove that some diazine compounds have a remarkable activity against different microorganisms (germs and fungi), the pyrimidine derivatives being more active. Correlations between structure and antimicrobial activity are reported.

A new, facile and straightforward method for synthesis of ligands possessing multiple binding sites is reported. The reaction pathway involve acylation of -halogenated dihydroxyacetophenone followed by quaternisation with nitrogen heterocycles. A new class of oxa- and oxaaza- coronands was obtained.

Currently, an essential element that distinguishes one country against another in terms of economic is the competitiveness, both at the firm or sector level, at city, region or nation. One of the factors that ensure the competitiveness is the sustainable development, development that meets the needs of present generations, without prejudicing the interests of the future generations. For this purpose acts the sustainable tourism. The aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of these three elements - competitiveness, sustainable development and sustainable tourism - in the context of improving the image of Romanias tourist destination.

Nowadays each individual assumes that the main goal of a firm is to make products and offer services that provide a high level of satisfaction to the consumer. The consumers are not indifferent anymore; their expectations regarding the quality and the comfort level have increased while they don’t accept medium quality products so credulous. Therefore is safe to affirm that the pivotal role of a business is the client, which can be defined through a complex net of demands, requirements and expectations. Observing as a starting point the problems confronting each consumer, we are proposing a research which aims to determine what is the satisfaction level and trust of the consumers from Iasi in the governmental bodies, when they have to file complaints to NACP (National Authority for Consumers Protection). These bodies have as their main function the protection of consumer’s rights and interests. This study followed two main directions in order to determine the problems that the consumers from Iasi are confronted with, when they purchase alimentary and non-alimentary products that is not according with the quality standard. In the same time we evaluated the effectiveness displayed by NAPC in solving the problems signaled by the consumers. The tool used was the questionnaire applied to a sample of 234 subjects. With the help of the results we determined the pattern of multiple regression analysis, going through a series of stages from the selection of the variables to the testing of the research hypothesis. The multiple regression method is known as a statistical procedure, which indicates the way that a dependent variable has influence upon independent variables, in a linear relationship; the usefulness of the method can be justified by the fact that is a part of the quantitative methods based on causal explanation of cause-effect relation.

In the early development of the society there were two factors: labor and land (nature), considered the original factors of production. From the union of these factors, people continued their existence. Later appeared as a factor of production the capital derived as an interaction result of the first two. Work means more than a simply way of acquiring wealth, as classical economists argued, it expresses in a certain measure the essence of human being – we are what we produce. In a market economy, labor is a special commodity. Unlike other goods, the sale and purchase of labor occurs in a specific market, characterized by its features and known in the general economic theory under the name of the labor market. The article captures the evolution of labor over time and brings to the fore some economic aspects of the labor market. Moreover, its purpose is to highlight the labor market in the view of the famous classical economists, bringing to the attention similarities and contradictions, many of them being found in today’s reality.

If two years ago young people said that it is difficult to enter on the labor market, now the situation is worsened because of the difficult economic climate. The discussions on the lack of employment positions are becoming increasingly heard. The layoffs, the decrease in the number of vacancies, all of these have more serious repercussions on young people than on the adults. Thus, during the financial crisis, young people are the human resources who “suffer” most in contact with the labor market and hardly find a job in Romania. According to the National Agency for Employment, the number of registered unemployed persons less than 25 years in the first quarter of 2010 doubled compared to 2008, reaching 105,007.The aim of the present article is to illustrate some studies of some economists, known or less known, about the various developments on the Romanian labor market, possibly the evolution of unemployment on certain criteria. The article also will provide insights into the statistical modeling of certain economic laws for the employment and unemployment in Romania, thus creating a picture of the situation on the Romanians labor market reality.

Contributing to a normal and balanced functioning of the national economy, the labor market role is to exploit efficiently the labor resources. It must continually adapt to the technological changes, modernization and general restructuring. The content of the labor market is given by all the economic relations that refer to employment and labor utilization; also it refers to providing social protection of the human factor. Romania’s transition to a market economy necessarily requires the adoption of a strategy to respond to the multiple issues concerning the employment and the efficient use of labor; Romania have to adopt policies to adjust the balance between the supply and demand of labor and to avoid an explosion of unemployment. For this purpose the labor market management acts; this paper discusses its features and its functions, as well as the policies and the strategies issues that should be taken to Romania; at final offers some proposals concerning the importance of the continuous training, like a basic component of the labor market management.
