Revealing of optimum modes of ultrasonic coagulation of submicron particles and determining of the shape of the aggregates by mathematical modeling

Vladimir N. Khmelev; Andrey V. Shalunov; Roman N. Golykh; Ksenija V. Shalunova; Anton N. Galakhov; Viktor A. Nesterov

The article presents the results of studying of the process of aggregate formation at the ultrasonic coagulation of submi-cron particles. The results are obtained on the base of mathematical modeling of translatory motion and rotary motion of the couple of particles under the action of ultrasonic field. The novelty of proposed model is in the fact that specific feature of flow of small-scale particles (less than 1 μm) by continuous medium at the deflection of their form from spherical is taken into consideration. Obtained results let formulating requirements to the radiators of ultrasonic vibrations for realization of the coagulation process with maximum efficiency.

The development of the agglomerator for efficiency increase of the separation of nanoscale particles

Vladimir N. Khmelev; Andrey V. Shalunov; Victor A. Nesterov; Anton N. Galakhov; Roman N. Golykh; Kseniya V. Shalunova

The article is devoted to the development of the agglomerator to increase the efficiency of separation of nanoscale dispersed particles. Designed agglomerator provides preliminary coagulation due to ultrasonic action, and it allows to enlarge particles in 8 times at the productivity of 1000 m3/hour, with the concentration of upto 200gr/m3, density of the material agglomerates is 200 kg/m3 and initial size of the particles is 200 nm. It guarantees essential increase of the efficiency of the apparatus of centrifugal acoustic collection.

Development of the construction of the apparatus for centrifugal acoustic collection of nanoscale aerosols

Vladimir N. Khmelev; Andrey V. Shalunov; Victor A. Nesterov; Anton N. Galakhov; Roman N. Golykh; Kseniya V. Shalunova

In the article the construction of improved apparatus of opposite rotational flotations for collection of ready nanodispersed product is considered. The main feature of perfected construction is an introduction of two sources of ultrasonic vibrations into the apparatus, for which piezoelectric vibrating systems with the disk radiators are used. Carried out analysis of the apparatus of opposite rotational flotations by finite element method showed high efficiency of developed centrifugal apparatus providing collection of 90% of nanomaterial particles.
