Augmented Reality (AR) provides an authentic and realistic learning experience. It is obvious that younger generation prefers technology intervened learning rather than conventional learning. Although previous work on AR have shed some lights on the use of such technology on learning, studies focusing on science experiment practices are still lacking. Experiments are crucial for students to enhance critical understanding of science phenomena. This article discusses the process of designing and developing a mobile app for physics experiment using AR technology. This is an auxiliary learning tool for upper secondary school students. The aim of this Mobile AR app for Physics experiment (MARPEX) is to provide rigorous information beyond conventional experiment practices and additional learning materials. Several experiments have been selected to be included in MARPEX. An expert review is conducted to gauge feedback and recommendations. Future work includes user evaluation of MARPEX on real classroom settings.

Motivation and learning process have a deep connection. Motivation is the core for human being’s aspirations and achievements. Thus, motivation is crucial to succeed in educational matters and without the fighting spirit nothing is possible not only in education but also in real life. The learning process is an endless life long process. In order to continuously achieve a high motivation is crucial. Motivation is the force that encourages students to face all the tough and challenged circumstances. Motivation itself is a huge scope to cater. Hence, this study emphasises on several motivational theories that are related to the learning domain.

Computational model of stress reaction among natural disaster victim can be of interest for different purposes, varying from the study of virtual human cognition behaviours in stressful events to the development of intelligent support for cognitive therapies. This paper presents a novel computational agent model of stress reaction among natural disaster victims. Simulation experiments under different conditions and parameters setting pointed out that the model is able to produce realistic behaviour of different types of personalities. Moreover, by a mathematical analysis the equilibria of the model have been determined, and by automated trace checking, a number of selected cases from the literatures have been internally validated.
