Bin Nie; Jianqiang Du; Hongning Liu; Guoliang Xu; Zhuo Wang; Yan He; Bingtao Li

13 kind of nationalities crowds’ data classification using hierarchical cluster(HC), rough sets(RS), principal component analysis(PCA) and its combination, the result shows: first, rough sets and principal component analysis can dimensionality reduction and de-noising; second, hierarchical cluster after rough sets(RSHC), principal component analysis after rough sets(PCARS), principal component analysis after principal component analysis(PCAPCA), hierarchical cluster after principal component analysis (HCPCA), rough sets after principal component analysis(PCARS) are similarly result. Then, according to different practical application select different methods or combinative methods, which can maximize their advantages and minimize their disadvantages.

A New Operating System Scheduling Algorithm

Bin Nie; JianQiang Du; Guoliang Xu; Hongning Liu; Riyue Yu; Quan Wen

The paper compares several kinds scheduling algorithm, which include First-Come,First-Served,Shortest-Job (process)-First, Highest Response Ratio Next. Each algorithm has some advantages or disadvantages. In order to take all the factors, such as first come job, shortest job, longest job, highest respones ratio job,and etc,the paper put forward a new operating system scheduling algorithm median-time slice-Highest Response Ratio Next, the method was proved to be feasible and effective after tested the five process sequence.

Bin Nie; Jianqiang Du; Hongnin Liu; Guoliang Xu; Zhuo Wang; Mingfeng Zhu; Qiyun Zhang

Traditional hierarchical clustering (HC) methods which always fail to deal with very large databases or high dimensional spaces. In the paper, arithmetic mean, arithmetic mean ratios and so on are introduced. Variable trend, data preprocessing for database based on variable trend, and mining VIP (variable important in M/Z, or called typical characteristic) based on an improved hierarchical clustering method is put forward. It was proved to be feasible and effective to mining VIP according necessity after tested.

Bin Nie; Jianqiang Du; Riyue Yu; Guoliang Xu; Zhuo Wang; Hongning Liu; Quan Wen

the research for traditional Chinese medicine’s warm and cold natures classification is a significative thing for clinical. The paper put forward a model to classify Chinese herbs’ warm and cold natures. The first, data preprocessing; The second, extract the typical M/Z(mass-to-charge ratio) character values from these mice of the train sample have been given the warm or cold natures which have been known The third, these typical character values model rules set, test it use other same type natures typical character values and the different type natures typical character values respectively, the result is to filter the very important values (VIP), as the classification rules. The model was proved to be feasible and effective after tested with 6 type’s warm nature’s herbs, 6 type’s cold nature’s herbs.

Mingfeng Zhu; Jianqiang Du; Bin Nie; Yi Rao; Jinqian Wang; YueSheng Wang

To ensure the quality of traditional Chinese medicine is a key task for manufacturers of traditional Chinese medicine. In this paper, a novel method based on an improved trend balanced genetic algorithm is used for blending optimization in order to ensure the quality of traditional Chinese medicine. Our newly designed genetic algorithm is composed of 4 operators including a trend crossover operator, a trend mutation operator, a trend balance operator and a trend selection operator based on our trend balanced theory. In the experiment, our trend balanced genetic algorithm is more accurate and efficient than those of traditional genetic algorithm and non-linear least square method.
