Effects of Trust and Cognitive Absorption on Smart Phone Use and User Satisfaction

Bong-Gyou Lee; Yoon-Ki Yeo; Ki-Youn Kim; Jong-Hoon Lee

The purpose of this study is to explore determinants which affect the significant increase in the user acceptance of smart phone. This study also analyzes the effect of each variable on the actual acceptance by empirical methods. In this study, first, the system quality and the service quality are defined as independent variables based on developed IS success model of DeLone & McLean(2003). Second, we proposed the research model by providing trust and perceptual immersion as intermediate variables, and user satisfaction and actual use as dependent variables by the proceeding research for accepting information technology and new service. Third, the statistical analysis is conducted by surveying to 200 smart phone users for verifying a validity of research models and hypotheses. As a result, almost hypotheses are accepted in confidence interval except for the hypothesis between security and trust variable.

Analyzing Influential Factors of Sustainable Consumption Behavior in Mobile Videophone Services

Deog-Wan Park; Younghee Lee; Bong-Gyou Lee

ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to analyze influential factors of sustainable consumption behavior in mobile videophone services using TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). The results of data analysis by SPSS 12.0 show that perceived usefulness, perceived easy of use, videophone service quality, concentration, and use of videophone service by acquaintances exert significant influence on continuous use for videophone services. But ‘the level of neighbors videophone possession and use, videophone charge, videophone quality, and privacy’ as moderating variables haven’t significant influence on extended use. Keywords:Mobile Videophone Services, Technology Acceptance Model(TAM), Sustainable Consumption Factor 1. 서 론 1) 이동통신시장에서 음성가입자 시장이 포화상태에 직면함에 따라 이동통신사업자들의 관심은 모바일 영상통화서비스에 집중되어 왔다. Recent development in wireless computing and GPS technology cause the active development in the application system of location information in real-time environment such as transportation vehicle management, air traffic control and location based system. Especially, study about vehicle location tracking system, which monitors the vehicle`s position in a control center, is appeared to be a representative application system. However, the current vehicle location tracking system can not provide vehicle position information that is not stored in a database at a specific time to users. We designed a vehicle location tracking system that could track vehicle location using mobile interface such as PDA. The proposed system consist of a vehicle location retrieving server and a mobile interface. It is provide not only the moving vehicle`s current location but also the position at a past and future time which is not stored in database for users.

Significant Factors for Building Enterprise Mobile Cloud

Jae-Jin Lee; Junseok Oh; Bong-Gyou Lee

Recently, various mobile services are provided by the spread of wireless network infrastructures and smart devices. The improvement of cloud computing technologies increases the interests for enterprise mobile cloud services in various IT companies as well. By increasing the interests for enterprise mobile cloud services, it is necessary to evaluate the use of enterprise mobile cloud services. Therefore, the factors which affect the user acceptance of enterprise mobile cloud services are analyzed on the basis of Davis` technology acceptance model in this research. As analysis results, four external variables have significant effects on perceived ease of use of mobile cloud services. Also, these variables indirectly affect attitude toward using cloud services. The results show that the security is the most important factor for attitude toward using enterprise mobile cloud services. The service users also consider the interoperability as an important factor for the user acceptance of cloud services. The perceived ease of use has more contribution than the perceive usefulness on attitude toward using enterprise mobile cloud services. This research has both industrial and academic contributions because it provides the guideline to companies for introducing the enterprise mobile cloud services and apply the technology acceptance model on new IT services.

Donghyun Kim; Hyun-Shik Seo; Hyung-Joon Kim; Bong-Gyou Lee

The purpose of this study is to find the beneficial plan for business success by the advantage of social media service in the business organization. There is few research for applying social media on a variety of fields in business organization although many companies are trying to find the way for its application. Hence, this study identifies the possibility for the utilization of social media services, and it also finds the plan for their effective application. The social relationship is created by increasing communications between users of social media service. The research model is established on the basis of the hypothesis that the social relationship affects knowledge share, pursuit of ego, social participation, amusement. To maximize the impact of results, the research was conducted on the basis of the target on two groups including the business men and non-business men who use social media services. As results of the research, the business men tend to appeal their impression based on sharing knowledge with anonymous people. Also, it is necessary to make a social participation to a management participation, and to utilize the social media in the organization by including amusement to its function. This research is expected to have significant implication to companies which wants to apply social media services in the future.

Impact of Security, Charge and Quality on the Usage Satisfaction of Mobile Internet

Bong-Gyou Lee; Ki-Youn Kim; Sung-Wan Koo

The purpose of this study is to explore latent variables that affect users` satisfaction of mobile internet and to estimate a composite relationships among parameters. In order to examine causative significance between dependent variables and each of the independent variables, we redefined the variables, the quality of information, system and service derived from the DeLone and McLean`s model. And we found out the new independent variables: security and service charge. Prior research adopted mainly TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) to investigate the user acceptance of information services or system. Therefore, it is significant that we developed our research model to appropriate on mobile internet`s inherent nature and that focused on the important variables like service charge and security. In empirical approach, we surveyed 435 samples and conducted structural equation modeling and multi-regression analysis to estimate the regression parameters. The results of the study illustrated that our hypotheses covering the quality of information, system and service, security and service charge were supported.

Impact of KM Strategies on KM Performance

Younghee Lee; In-Kuk Song; Jungwoo Lee; Seung-Ryul Jeong; Bong-Gyou Lee

The purpose of the research is to investigate the impact of the implementation and recognition for KM strategies on KM performances in public enterprises. The research identified critical factors of KM strategies and performances through literature review, measured the degrees of implementation and significance recognition for the strategies targeting public enterprises, and analyzed the KM performance levels based on the combined degrees of the implementation and the recognition for KM strategies. The findings illustrate that not only the KM strategies implementation, but also the significance recognition can affect the KM performances. The researchers urge that organizations, in advance, should request their employees` understanding and significance recognition for KM strategies to successfully implement their knowledge management.
