Indonesia requires innovation and revitalization for the military vehicles that match the performance of the Indonesian Armed Forces TNI in securing the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia. Based on this fact, the need for good vehicle use, effective and efficient is necessary, by the fact the Indonesian military vehicles is commonly old that have limited function and ergonomics. The new vehicle purchased from abroad is also less fit for the soldiers ergonomic profile. The study aimed to design one of the main parts that are considered most representative of a military vehicle to fit between the vehicle function and the profile of soldiers. This study aims to design an instrument Human-Machine Interface in the form of a dashboard with semantic methods and evaluated on a military vehicle with a virtual method in order to maximize the functions of the Human-Machine Interaction in the vehicle in order to improve the performance of the military vehicles that will maximize the ability of the military in using their main combat tools

Significant growth in demand for bottled drinking water with many varieties and wide distribution area has resulted a long and complicated logistic process. The product is packaged using carton box to ease logistics process. The high level of the carton box damage during the logistic process is one of the problem occurs. This study tried to perform analysis of the problem using an integrated analysis of microergonomic and macroergonomic as called as mesoergonomic. Some hypotheses are developed to know the variables relation and their effects to the problem. The results of this study are expected to shed light on the relationship level of product packaging damage during logistic process in the industry.

This research studies the ergonomic aspect from toll booth and operators performance. It is mainly based on working posture and service time of operators. The analysis of working posture based on Posture Evaluation Index using Software Jack 6.1, meanwhile service time based on queuing theory using WinQsb. The output of the study can be divided to actual and 36 reconfiguration design. The results suggest that the most ergonomic design is with 51 cm in seat height, 5 cm in foot rest height, and 80 cm in desk height. Based on simulation, it can reduce the average time of costumer spend in the queue until 82% from 35.31 seconds to 6.4 seconds.

The work of emergency medical technicians (EMT) during patient evacuation involves lifting task in an emergency situation, which results in the increasing risk of musculoskeletal disorders such as low back pain. The purpose of this research was to investigate the workplace and ergonomic aspect that influence work posture of the EMT using simulation approach in a virtual environment. Biomechanic model (mannequin) of the EMT had been simulated and analyzed by using LBA and OWAS method. The mannequin was given an improvement based on ergonomic principle of manual lifting task and then was reanalyzed. Improvement that can be used for the work system of the evacuation process conducted by EMT considering its nature situation is the work posture of personnel during the process of lifting the patient into the stretcher. The technique that can be used is the proper lifting techniques. The results of this research can be used as a recommendation to the work system of the EMT.
