Bu calismanin amaci, sozlu tarih calismalarina yonelik tutumlari olcmeye yonelik bir olcme araci gelistirmektir. 26 maddeden olusan olcek Gazi Universitesi Gazi Egitim Fakultesi Sosyal Bilgiler Ogretmenliginde ogrenim goren 123 ogretmen adayi ile Tarih Ogretmenliginde ogrenim goren 118 ogretmen adayina uygulanmistir. Olcegin kapsam gecerligi icin uzman gorusune basvurulmustur. Elde edilen veriler uzerinden olcegin gecerligini belirleyebilmek icin acimlayici faktor analizi ve madde ayirt edicilik gucleri hesaplanmistir. Yapilan analiz sonucunda olcegin iki alt faktorlu bir yapiya sahip oldugu sonucuna ulasilmistir. Olcegin guvenirlik duzeyini tespit edebilmek icin ic tutarlilik duzeyi hesaplanmistir. Sonuc olarak bu olcegin sozlu tarih calismalarina yonelik tutumlari belirlemek uzere kullanilabilecek gecerli ve guvenilir bir arac oldugu soylenebilir.

This study aimed to reveal students’ views regarding the teaching of the Atatürk’s Principles and History of Revolution (APHR) course by distance education. The survey model was employed in the study. The study group consisted of 645 students attending Karadeniz Technical University and Karabük University. The research results showed that although the participants receiving the APHR course by distance education had a high level interest in history of revolution subjects, they had a low level participation in the APHR course. Most of the participants wanted the APHR course to continue to be taught at higher education level without any change in its content and name. The participants thought that the teaching of the Atatürk’s Principles and History of Revolution accomplished its goals at medium and high levels. Among the problems encountered by the students in the APHR teaching by distance education, the most prominent ones were the inadequacy of the teaching methods employed, exam-oriented instruction, and the insufficiency of the teaching materials used. Traditional lecture and adhesion to textbook continued in distance education, too. It was seen that most of the participants receiving the APHR course by distance education did not attend the lessons regularly and thought that teaching the APHR course by distance education was not beneficial.

Bu arastirmanin amaci, sosyal bilgiler ogretmen adaylarinin gecmis yasantilarinda ogrenemedikleri sosyal bilgilerle ilgili konulari tespit ederek bu konularin etkili bir sekilde ogretimi icin kullanilmasini onerdikleri ogretim arac ve gereclerini ortaya koymaktir. Tarama modelinde yurutulen arastirmanin calisma grubunu 2011-2012 egitim-ogretim yilinda KTU Fatih Egitim Fakultesi Sosyal Bilgiler Ogretmenligi ucuncu ve dorduncu siniflarinda ogrenim goren toplam 346 ogretmen adayi olusturmaktadir. Arastirma sonucunda sosyal bilgiler ogretmen adaylarinin cogunlugunun sosyal bilgiler dersi kapsaminda ogretilen konulari ogrenemedikleri, bu konulari ogrenememelerinin nedenleri arasinda ise ogretmen tutumu, materyal kullanilmamasi, konu icerigi ve matematik bilmeme gibi sorunlari gosterdikleri ortaya cikmistir. Bu sorunlarin cozumu icin ders sunularinin, gorsellerin, teknolojik araclarin, calisma yapraklari ve zaman seritleri gibi materyallerin kullanimini onerdikleri anlasilmistir.

In this work, educational activities and institutions in Kosovo province, that was under the rule of Ottoman Empire in the later nineteenth century and in the early part of twentieth century, were dealt. This survey includes education organizations, schools, the curricula of these schools, the administrators and teachers who worked in the schools in Kosovo province, and statistical information and comments about the library, newspapers and printing offices in the province. The main source of the survey is ‘’the Yearbooks of the Ministry of Education’’ that includes official information and that has the feature of primary source. ln the work, some information is submitted about the schools (vocational schools, senior high schools, junior high schools, primary schools, medressehs, non-muslim schools), printing offices, newspapers and libraries in Kosovo province and a comparative analysis is made with the situation in the other Ottoman provinces.
