Uncommon oral manifestations of dengue viral infection.

Dengue infection is one of the most mosquito-borne viral diseases of humans worldwide that represents an important public health problem in over 100 tropical countries. Dengue virus infection may result in a broad spectrum of clinical presentations, ranging from asymptomatic or a mild, nonspecific fever, to classic dengue fever (DF), and severe presentations such as dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome. Most people infected with dengue viruses commonly develop dengue fever (DF), the signs and symptoms of which include high fever, myalgia, arthralgia, severe headache, retro orbital pain and maculopapular rash. Some patients sometimes develop nonspecific symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, cough, dizziness, and diarrhea. In DF, immunosuppression is a common laboratory finding that represents one of the predisposing factors for oral pseudomembranous candidiasis. NASOLABIAL CYST: A CASE REPORT

The nasolabial cyst is considered as lesion a little frequent and of etiology still unknown. The nasolabial cyst is a non-odontogenic cyst that happens in the contiguous area to the wing of the nose committing just soft tissues, responsible fact for the ala nosi elevation constituting important clinical sign for the diagnosis. The present article report a case of nasolabial cyst in a 28-years-old white woman, with complaint of partial obstruction of the left nostril, directed by otorhinolaryngologist with the information that to the radiographic exam of the sinus of the face there was mild mucous thickly in maxillary, frontal and ethmoidal sinus with good aeration of the nasal fossa and discreet deviation of the bony nasal septum to left. The lesion was painless and to the physical exam mild camber of the left anterior upper vestibular fornix, besides the elevation of the ala nosi on the same side. To the occlusal radiographic exam, it was noticed mild deviation of the left nasal floor. Aspiration was accomplished for citopathologic exam and surgical enucleation, being observed to the microscope a cavity covered by columnar epithelium and fibrous capsule, compatible with nasolabial cyst. Already in the first weeks, the postoperative evaluation evidenced favorable cicatrization of the operated area. After four years
