Teratoma of the spermatic cord; case report with a consideration of the prolan test

Abstract 1. 1. The report of a case with a true teratoma of the spermatic cord, clinically free of disease for over two and one-half years is presented. 2. 2. The significance and value of the determination of urinary prolan in spermatic cord tumors is briefly discussed. The patient was last seen in the Urological Clinic on August 2, 1939. He had no urinary complaints. His only difficulty was edema of the lower extremities which could be explained on a cardiorenal basis. There was no clinical evidence of metastases.
