As a greater number of Web Services are made available, support for service discovery mechanisms become essential. Services can have quite different Quality of Service characteristics (such as their response time when given a particular set of data). A service requestor therefore requires more sophisticated approaches to find a service that meets a particular behavior, because supporting matching between a service request and properties is not straightforward. Matchmaking plays a vital role in this discovery process. We propose a novel matchmaking algorithm to effectively compute the semantic distance of concepts in an ontology. It is based on description logic formalization and reasoning, extends simple subsumption matching found in other approaches and allows match ranking. We have implemented the proposed approach and used the developed prototype in the context of service discovery in the visualization domain.

Developed especially for the specific requirements and standards of construction and automotive industries for vehicles and machines to work in the field, modern controller in construction machinery is usually made up of several different electric control units (ECUs) based on the embedded system. The different ECUs configure the control area network (CAN) in construction machinery by CAN-bus. They work independently as measuring, driving or operating control device for sensor-actuator management and execute a number of tasks independently or cooperated with each other in real time. Data exchange between the ECUs or controllers could be realized via the RS232 or the CAN-Bus interface. Equipped with the embedded system in controller, in complex task of construction, machineries and vehicles will be integrated management and distribution rationalized by the remote control center using telecommunications technology via networks, so that the process could be controlled real-time and circulated in order.The amount of machine-oriented data on the Web is increasing rapidly as Semantic Web technologies achieve greater up-take. At the same time, the deployment of Grid/Web services is increasing and together they pose a service-discovery problem for users wishing to discover Grid/Web services to perform tasks. We build a portal to discover visualization services and characterize the distance between users’ requirement for visualizing data and the advertised capabilities of available visualization services by means of multiple techniques, so that the user can make decision on which services to invoke.

An improved genetic algorithm is present for AIB problem, which uses a scaling fitness method, a stochastic universal sampling selection way, linear-changed crossbreed and mutation probabilities. The platform is achieved by PowerBuilder, the architecture and main data structure is also brought forth. The solution of AIB-2 problem is described by combining an example. It resolves the prematurity problem of simple genetic algorithms and greatly increases the performance of simple genetic algorithms.

On the basis of constructing the distributed data warehouse, the pervasive application of data mining technology in the CRM software development was researched in this paper. A framework of analytical CRM was designed based on B/S frame, and the specific contents of the main function modules in the system were described. It is of more far-reaching significance in theory and practice for realizing the application of data mining technology in the computer pervasive environment.

Surface design and structure design are two aspects of product design. Product information can be perfectly described only if both of them are organically united. The impact of a product’s appearance on its performance and decoration has been given much attention in engineering and on the market. The existing CAD system does not suffice for surface design, which is still designed with experience and handicraft. This case does not accommodate new market development. To grapple with this problem, a representation of appearance features, an aided design of the figure and the surface design, which is based on mapping, are detailed in this paper. The intelligent robot has become a new research hot spot at present time. The control strategy of robot are important aspects of robot research. Thesis put forward a control method of basing on knowledge driving, and builds the knowledge chain structural model, and introduces knowledge acquisition and knowledge discovery course, and expounds the implementing method of intelligent control system. The precision control with the fixed quantity is compared, and the control strategy of knowledge driving possess so some protruding characteristics: (1) bigger control flexibility; (2) the better ability of suiting environment; (3) the more nimble man-machine interactive ability; (4) more convenient knowledge evolution mechanism. The experiment indicates: the intelligent control system based on knowledge driving can be imitated thinking process and the processing method of the mankind, and realizes the complicated control activity.

An automatic guided vehicle (AGV) is one of key equipment of logistic automation systems. The guiding mode possesses great influence as the controlling feature of the AGV. The paper presents a method of guiding an AGV by infrared digital signal, and introduces the modulating process of the guiding signal and the implementation method. The simulated test result indicates that infrared digital guiding has a great deal of good characteristics.

Giant magnetostrictive actuator(GMA) structure design includes magnetic design and thermal design, and they are relevant. However, current researches are focused on single magnetic design or single thermal design. Based on finite elements analysis, the integrated optimized design method of GMA was proposed to improve the overall performance of GMA. Based on the requirements of magnetic design, the influence of thermal deformation was systematically analyzed. Then a prototype of GMA with double water-cooling cavums was proposed. According to the requirements of precision positioning, the measurement and control system was set up, and pre-pressure, bias current and hysteresis characteristics experiments of GMA were carried out. Then bias conditions and the working stroke of GMA were determined by the experimental results. Finally, positioning accuracy measurement was carried out and its result shows that the positioning accuracy of GMA presented in the paper is better than 0.02µm.

This paper discusses how to optimize the digital graphic program with cache system used in GPU/CPU architecture to gain more FPS. Firstly, we introduce the basic principle of cache system summarily; secondly, we discuss the three main organization and mapping technologies of cache system in detail, and then compare these three cache mapping solutions by giving examples; thirdly, illustrate the cache-friendly programming style, how to avoid cache race and cache split in programming.

This paper presents an overview of the magnetomechanical modeling of magnetostriction materials. The introductory section starts with phenomenon of magnetostriction, a brief historical development of magnetostrictive materials and a variety of applications. This is followed by subsection on phenomenological constitutive, which is made up of the Zheng-Liu model, the standard square constitutive model and The hyperbolic tangent constitutive equations.
