REPRESENTAÇÕES DO ESPAÇO-TEMPO: GRAFIAS DE UMA CIDADE

Os sucessivos meios tecnicos e o estagio atual do mundo contemporâneo produzem nos espaco urbanos campos de disputas territoriais, configurando espacos luminosos e espacos opacos, como bem definiu Milton Santos. Entretanto, esses espacos guardam numerosos aspectos herdados de epocas anteriores e, em virtude de resistencias as transformacoes, apresentam espacialidades complexas que contem elementos de diversas origens e idades que lhes asseguram o enriquecimento da diferenca e da multiplicidade que caracteriza a geograficidade. Esse artigo, entao, apresenta algumas reflexoes teorico-metodologicas para a cidade de Canoas/RS, a partir de Milton Santos como referencial. Compreende-se que as diferenciacoes espaciais, com base num dialogo metodologico com Milton Santos (1996), permitem visualizar distintos processos de territorializacao que produzem e se reproduzem na periferia ou na grafia urbana do municipio. Esta compreensao constitui-se por diferentes apropriacoes e por conflitos entre diferentes atores que materializam suas acoes que se inscrevem no espaco. Palavras-chaves: Espaco. Representacao. ABSTRACT Successive technical facilities and the current stage of the contemporary world produce in urban spaces fields with territorial disputes, setting bright spaces and opaque spaces as defined by Milton Santos. However, these spaces retain many inherited aspects from earlier times and because of resistance to the transformations, exhibit complex spatialities that contain elements of different origins and ages that assure the enrichment of difference and multiplicity that characterizes geographicity. Therefore, this article presents some theoretical and methodological reflections to the city of Canoas / RS using Milton Santos as reference. It is understood that the spatial differentiations based on a methodological dialogue with Milton Santos (1999), allow to visualize distinct processes of territorialization that produce and reproduce in the periphery or in the citys urban mark. This comprehension is constituted by different appropriations and conflicts between various actors who materialize their actions who subscribe in the space. Keywords : Space. Representation. Urban.

REPRESENTAÇÕES ESPACIAIS, JUVENTUDE E PERIFERIA: GUAJUVIRAS/CANOAS/RS E SEUS DESAFIOS URBANOS

This article takes discussions about spacial representations of the young resident from Guajuviras neighborhood in Canoas city, RS, and therefore those discussions has become important nowadays, above all in our cities, it doesn’t happen just in the academic study, but by the key role in the formulation of public policies, since ever more governments and social movements share great responsibility in search of join actions that can result in potential improvements. They include surrounding communities reflections, but they are understood as the center and they have the main actors as subjects, and they are no more mere and simple adjuncts of economic and social processes of the city.
