Ctenarytaina spatulata Taylor, 1997 was introduced in Brazil in the 1990 in eucalyptus plantations. Due to the importance of the C. spatulata as an eucalyptus pest, this research was developed in order to study the external morphology of adults and nymphs, with special detail on the 5th instar nymphs. Considerable differences were observed among the nymphal instars, mainly in respect to size and characters of the antennae, the legs and the apex of the abdomen. The adult external morphology was presented with details of the wing veins, the characteristics of the legs, antennae and the genitalia.

The occurrence of Platycorypha nigrivirga Burckhardt (Hemiptera: Psyllidae, Acizzinae), is reported for the first time, in Brazil. The psyllid was observed causing injuries on leaves and shoots of Tipuana tipu (Benth.), in urban areas of Paraná State. P. nigrivirga are tiny sap-sucking insects that feed on phloem and cause curling, stains and fall of leaves. The excrements of these insects accumulate on the leaves propitiating fungus growth on the leaves, or they fall in great amount on the cars dirtying them as if they were sparkling of white and sticky ink.

Abstract Rhombacus eucalypti Ghosh & Chakrabarti, 1987 (Acari: Eriophyidae) is reported from Eucalyptus tereticornis, E. grandis and E. camaldulensis in a greenhouse in southern Brazil. Description of the species is complemented based on adults and immatures of Brazilian specimens. The protonymphs of this species are unique within the Eriophyoidea in having a pair of lateral spurlike structures on the prodorsal shield.
