The Environment of Web 2.0 as a Relational Factor in the Use of Loyalty-Raising Parameters Within the University Environment

The new narratives that have emerged from the social media profiles have shown that public demand closeness of those institutions to which they belong one way or another. The case of universities is not alien to this phenomenon and they have adapted the form and substance of communications through social networks with the various stakeholders with which they interact. From this initial premise, we must seek successful cases that serve as the basis for a good analysis of the content of such profiles. The typology of content and frequency of publication should be two conducting axes of our research as they provide the tone one wants to give to this type of communication. We also believe that, unlike other types of descriptive research that base their depth on the long run, we must limit our observational period to a short range that also delimits our analysis process. This way, we can reach specific conclusions that are relevant, innovative and effective.

El papel de la prensa escrita como agente socializador

We are in a media landscape ruled by the advent of new digital formats result of the technological revolution. In the last few years new forms of knowledge that have changed social interaction have been developed. The digital press that is transmitted only on the Web, has shifted to the classic printed in the consumer habits, due to new and potentially instantaneous multimedia language. In this article we analyze the degree of involvement of the press, especially the newspaper in the socialization of their audience. Being a historical review (not based on assumptions, deductions), we start from the concept of mass communication to be contextualizing the study and focus it in the papers printed with a degree of depth that allows us to clarify the status of the issue. In order to approach the current situation, we conducted a study to readers from a quantitative perspective to provide reliable data that support our theory by way of conclusion.

El alto número y gran calidad de los artículos seleccionados evidencian los distintos aspectos sobre los que el foco de la labor investigadora se ha centrado y la exigencia de no caer en vacíos que supongan silencios sobre contenidos, ni en redundancias farragosas que entorpezcan el avance fluido científico.
