O objetivo deste trabalho foi testar 10 modelos hipsometricos para eucalipto em sistema de integracao lavoura-pecuaria-floresta. O experimento foi implantado no municipio de Caceres –MT em novembro de 2010. O plantio do eucalipto foi realizado em fileiras triplas (renques), com espacamento de 3x3 m nos renques e 23 m entre os renques. Os valores do coeficiente de correlacao multipla ( r yŷ) variaram entre 0,6773 e 0,8239, sendo o maior valor pertencente a equacao gerada pelo modelo 5. O modelo 5 tambem apresentou a menor raiz quadrada do erro medio em percentagem (RQEM%) de 7,78, sendo o mais acurado para estimativa da altura de eucalipto em sistema de integracao lavoura-pecuaria-floresta. HYPSOMETRIC MODELS FOR EUCALYPTUS IN A SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATING CROP-LIVESTOCK-FOREST ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to test 10 hypsometric models for eucalyptus in a system for integrating crop-livestock-forest. The experiment was implemented in the city of Caceres, MT, Brazil, in November 2010. The planting of eucalyptus was held in triple lines (rows), with distances of 3x3 m in the rows and 23 m among the rows. The multiple correlation coefficient values ( r yŷ) ranged from 0.6773 to 0.8239, where the highest value belongs to the equation generated by the model 5. The model 5 also showed the lowest square root of average error in terms of percentage (RQEM%), totaling 7.78, and it was the most accurate value for estimating the height of eucalyptus in the system for integrating crop-livestock-forest . Teak meets the main criteria for selection of tree species for timber production of rapid growth. Thus choosing the proper spacing will provide the largest volume per area and stems with desirable quality. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of spacing in several dendrometric variables in stands of teak in Caceres, Mato Grosso state. The following variables were assessed at the ages of 11 and 16 years: diameter at breast height (DBH), total height, basal area, total volume per tree, volume per hectare, annual average growth, and survival. It was observed that the lower the density of trees, the greater the DAP and the individual volume; and that the greater the density, the greater the basal area and the total volume per hectare. Lack of thinning negatively affected the dendrometric averages and the production of stands at different spacings.

The knowledge of the site is necessary to understand the production and forest management. The objective of this study was to determine the productive capacity of Teak in southwestern Mato Grosso State, through the analysis of site index curves, to forest harvesting. The data were collected in permanent plots and the stem analysis of 32 dominant trees of two stands, 33 and 34 years old. Eight site index models were adjusted and the selection criteria followed the lowest standard deviation, the highest adjusted coefficient of determination, F test value and the absence of trends in the graphical analysis of the residuals. The site index curves were prepared by the method of the guide curve. Soil samples were collected for physical analysis and macronutrients. The model presented by Hoerl had the best fit and it was found that the database follows an anamorphic pattern, thus, the growing trend is the same between the curves. Four site index curves were generated in an age-index of 30 years and three productivity classes of Teak were established. The soil characteristics of the region are favorable to the cultivation of Teak and the curves illustrate the productive potential for the species.
