This paper aims to identify the prevalence of body dissatisfaction among schoolchildren and relate it to their real nutritional status. The evaluation included 1578 schoolchildren in the municipality of Santa Cruz do Sul-RS, through the measures of weight and height, for the calculation of the body mass index (BMI) and questionnaire to evaluate the satisfaction with the body weight. The results show that body dissatisfaction was significantly higher among the girls, among the adolescents and among the higher economic classes. Most schoolchildren showed a body perception consistent with the actual nutritional status, however, some worrying results were found that point out a distortion between body perception and actual nutritional status, as the percentage of eutrophic girls who would like to decrease weight, and overweight school children who said they were satisfied with their weight or who would like to increase it.

Introduction: The health pact, a 3-level partnership of the government, greatly contributed to the improvement of services offered to the population. In this context, it fitted into the reorganization of Mental Health Centers, which had new population coverage targets. Objectives: Identify the care coverage of the mental health centers in Brazilian states registered at the website of the Ministry of Health from 2010 to 2012. Material and Methods: This is an ecological study using a retrospective cross-sectional. The units that composed the analysis were from all Brazilian states. We sought to investigate the state coverage of mental health centers using DATASUS database. The analysis was performed by comparing indicators released by the Ministry of Health, and the results were presented at the DATASUS website. Results: In the period studied, it was observed that the coverage of mental health centers presented an average ranged from good to very good. Conclusion: In general, it can be said that most states achieved an increased coverage during the study period. We found that the mental health centers were becoming best-known and sought by the population. Achieving the optimal coverage targets in the country can represent the victory of much of the population.
