In a modern environment, during the evolution of international activities, from mobility to international education hubs, universities are searching for new internationalization tools to implement those undertakings more effectively in terms of finance and time. Co-operation with other regions of the world and international openness are the key factors in the development of the European Higher Education Area. To illustrate the situation arising from student mobility of studying technological sciences, the paper analyses information about student mobility in the fields of mechanical engineering and mechatronics for the period 2009–2013.

The paper analyses a pressing problem of creativity stimulation for the purposes of innovation development. Creativity stimulation is analyzed as an element of an organic system and can be accepted as recourse development having a big influence on all elements of organic systems for creativity development that covers recourses, processing, results and consumption. The article analyzes relation between the level of employee’s creativity and an environment provided for creativity development in an enterprise. The classification of the methods stimulating creativity is present based on the analysis of 12 wildly used methods and is oriented toward innovation development. Proposals for how to use the methods of creativity stimulation for the purposes of innovation developments are presented.

Santrauka Straipsnyje nagrinejamas mechatronikos pagrindiniu studiju procesas, susijes su verslo poreikius geriau atitinkanciu inžinerijos specialistu rengimu Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto Mechanikos fakultete. Analizes ir tyrimo metu buvo isryskinti studiju proceso tobulinimo aspektai, kuriu igyvendinimas leistu panasiomis sanaudomis parengti kvalifikuotesnius inžinerijos krypciu bakalaurus. Siems aspektams praktiskai igyvendinti autoriai siūlo patobulinta mechatronikos pagrindiniu studiju procesa.

Qualitative high education of a country is one of the most important factors that ensure a sustainable development of a respective country. Therefore effective development of higher education in the country becomes a significant factor in achieving this goal. Faster development of industry is mostly affected by the training of qualified industry engineers at higher education schools based not only on the conveyance of engineering, but also of managerial knowledge and the development of their abilities. The objective of this article is to put forward measures for improving continuing master studies in industrial engineering and management.

This article analyses a Mechatronic Systems` (MS) study process connected with the more correspondent preparation process of engineering professionals in the faculty of Mechanics at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. The analysis and study highlighted aspects of the study process development and its implementation that would enable one at the same rate to prepare more qualified engineers. The authors suggest improving the MS study process for aspects of` practical implementation. Realization of this improvement also requires an appropriate development of the evaluation of the study process and its effectiveness. And this is also what the authors present in the article. Suggested improvement would not only help to develop contemporary MS studies but it could also be applied for the development of studies in other science areas.
