DISPOSIÇÃO FINAL DOS RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS URBANOS: DIAGNÓSTICO DA GESTÃO DO MUNICÍPIO DE SANTO ANTÔNIO DE GOIÁS

A gestao dos residuos solidos e a parte que envolve a politica relacionada a esses. O gerenciamento sao as ferramentas, a parte pratica. No ano de 2010, o Brasil avancou na tematica relacionada a gestao publica de residuos solidos urbanos e industriais. Foi instituida, por exemplo, a responsabilidade sobre o material gerado. Com a Lei de No12. 305, o gerador tornou-se responsavel pelo que e descartado. De acordo com essa legislacao, na gestao e gerenciamento de residuos solidos, deve ser observada a seguinte ordem de prioridade: nao geracao, reducao, reutilizacao, reciclagem, tratamento dos residuos solidos e disposicao final ambientalmente adequada dos rejeitos. O presente trabalho foi desenvolvido no municipio de Santo Antonio de Goias, GO, Brasil, com o objetivo de avaliar a area de disposicao final dos residuos do municipio. No levantamento da qualidade da area utilizada para disposicao final dos residuos solidos, foi utilizado o metodo Indice de Qualidade de Aterro de Residuos (IQR) preconizado pela Companhia Ambiental do Estado de Sao Paulo (CETESB, 2011). Com o resultado pode-se concluir que a area esta inadequada, obtendo nota igual a 3,7.

Cyanotoxins removal from the water: a review

The aim of this work is to show the state-of-the-art about powdered activated carbon and cyanotoxins removal, normally used to avoid health problems in drinking water. The work is part of the PhD research of the second author. Brazilian government has one important law about the subject, named as ordinance 2.914, which provides procedures for water quality control and monitoring. In addition, the standards of portability. Problems caused by cyanotoxins are discussed as one the most dangerous for the public health. The problems linked with cyanobacteria for a long time have been neglected. Some of the problems caused for the presence of this toxins in the water are gastroenteritis, hepato-enteritis and other diseases of the liver and kidney, cancer, skin irritations, allergies, conjunctivitis, vision problems, muscle weakness, respiratory problems, asphyxia, seizures and in extreme cases death. Papers from different bases were consulted as materials in this research. The main bases were Scopus, Science Direct, and SciELO.

Aproveitamento de resíduos na produção de chapas recompostas

The clean production technologies are useful tools for environmental management of waste, minimizing the aspects generating negative impacts on the environment. The bamboo has properties relevant to the manufacture of products, enables the replacement of conventional wood in various applications and can all be used. The byproduct resulting from its processing as chips and sawdust, can be used for the production of particleboard. This work provides a research for developing sheets of bamboo blended using waste collected by exhaust coupled to a conventional four-sided planing machine used in woodworking responsible for the standardization of bamboo slats during manufacturing laminated bamboo. To prove the workability of the plate recomposed developed, tests were performed in a practical joinery using conventional operations: radial cutting circular saw, planer trowel, Thicknesser planer, circular sizing, drill, router, sander and still test aquarium, where observed hydrophobicity of the adhesives used. The results demonstrated the ability to be applied in construction, in home furnishings, packaging and furniture industries, as well as reducing the volume of solid waste disposed in the environment.

USO RACIONAL DA ÁGUA EM CONCESSIONÁRIA DE VEÍCULOS

Os diversos usos da agua pelo homem estao relacionados com a sua disponibilidade e realidade socioeconomica, haja vista que para alcancar o desenvolvimento economico inumeros paises tem consumido o recurso em grande escala. Estima-se que o consumo de agua atual aumentou em seis vezes, em relacao ao seculo passado, acarreando a falta de agua diante do consumo excessivo. As perdas nas edificacoes acarretam no aumento da demanda do recurso. Em se tratando de edificacao, um exemplo que se pode citar de um potencial consumidor de agua sao as concessionarias de veiculos, objeto de estudo neste trabalho. Neste empreendimento o uso de agua e distribuido na lavagem de veiculos e pecas, consumos para limpeza de grandes areas, irrigacao de jardins, e tambem, o proprio consumo. Nela ocorre um gasto medio mensal de 330 m³ por mes. O lavajato e o principal consumidor de agua no empreendimento, chegando a consumir 293,88 m³ por mes. Implantar um programa de Uso Racional em empreendimento desse porte, de forma a minimizar o desperdicio e reducao do valor pago mensal de tarifas e de extrema relevância.

Eficiência de diferentes adesivos para a confecção de painéis de bambu laminado

This work has as main goal to evaluate the efficiency of different adhesives used for making laminated bamboo panels. This technical-scientific research laboratory tests were performed, where properties of twelve laminated bamboo beams can be compared. The plant was chosen type Dendrocalamus giganteus. This genus is one of the best to perform carpentry work. For each type of adhesive applied to the plates of laminated bamboo, bending tests (reduced size), hardness, density, screw withdrawal, shear stress and shear stress at the glue line, a tool constituted conclusive on the workability of the different Products promoters junction between the parts that form the plywood. RATIONAL USE OF WATER IN CAR DEALERSHIP

The various uses of water by man are related to their availability and socio-economic reality, considering that to achieve economic development many countries have consumed the action on a large scale. It is estimated that the current consumption of water has increased six-fold over the past century, causing lack of water in front of excessive consumption. Losses in buildings may cause the increased demand of appeal. When it comes to building, an example may be cited of a potential consumer of water are the car dealerships, the object of study. In this project the use of water is distributed in the washing vehicles and parts, consumables for cleaning large area, garden irrigation, and their own consumption. It an average monthly expenditure of 330 m³ per month occurs. The car wash is the main consumer of water in the venture, coming to consume 293.88 m³ per month. Implement a program for the rational use in undertaking of this size in order to minimize waste and reduce the amount paid monthly tariff and the most importance.
