nn and 5 MeV, at various detection angles, have been measured. The peak corresponding to an ad relative energy of about 5.7 MeV, found in the spectra, has been analysed. By taking this peak to be mainly contributed by the13D16Li state at 5.7 MeV, the values of the excitation energy and of the width of this state are given.

SummaryThe dα bidimensional spectra for the7Li(3He, αd)α reaction at E3He = = 2.5 MeV have been measured. The 4.3 MeV6Li state contribution has been isolated from the other products of the reaction. The value of (1.6±0.3) MeV found for its width is, within the experimental errors, in line with those deduced from the6Li(d, d’) and6Li(p, pα)d reactions, but it is a factor of about 3 larger than the ones measured in the7Li(3He, αd)α and6Li(e, e’) experiments.

An analysis of thed-α coincidence spectra of the7Li(3He, αd)4He reaction at incident energy of 5.0 MeV and at various detector angles has been carried out. The values of the spectroscopic parameters of theJπ=1+,T=06Li state at excitation energy of 5.65 MeV have been deduced. The results, considering the experimental errors, do not appear to be dependent on the geometry and are in line with the ones adopted in literature.

We study the effect of the entrance channel and the shell structure of reacting massive nuclei on the fusion mechanism and the formation of evaporation residues of heavy and superheavy nuclei. In the framework of the combined dinuclear system concept and advanced statistical model, we analyze the reactions 32S+182W, 48Ti+166Er and 60Ni+154Sm leading to 214Th*, and the reactions 48Ca+248Cm and the 48Ca+249Cf leading to the 296116 and 297118 compound nuclei, respectively.

The {alpha}{alpha} bidimensional spectra for the {sup 6}Li({sup 3}He, {alpha}{ital p}){sup 4}He reaction at 11, 13, and 14 MeV incident energy have been measured. The {sup 5}Li state at {ital E}{sub {ital x}}=(17.9{plus minus}0.4) MeV has been observed and its width has been determined as (3.5{plus minus}0.8) MeV. The excitation energy is in line with the shell-model calculations while the {Gamma} value is the first quantitative estimate of the width of the above state.
