Optimierung einer elektromechanischen Bremse durch geeignete Getriebeauslegung

Das Fachgebiet Fahrzeugtechnik der TU Darmstadt forscht in Zusammenarbeit mit Continental Teves an der Thematik elektromechanischer Radbremsen. Im Zuge dessen wurde eine auf dem Prinzip der Teilbelagscheibenbremse basierende mechatronische Radbremse entwickelt, die sich durch ein neuartiges Kraftwandlungsgetriebe auszeichnet. Dieses besitzt im Gegensatz zu bekannten Prototypen eine variable, adaptive Ubersetzung, mit der die Kennlinie des Motors an die Steifigkeitskennlinie der Reibungsbremse angepasst wird. Dabei soll die Radbremse in ihren statischen und dynamischen Eigenschaften solchen Prototypen ahneln, die einen leistungsstarkeren Motor zum Antrieb benotigen.

Optimization of an electromechanical brake system by means of an appropriate gear design

In cooperation with Continental Teves the Chair of Automotive Engineering at Darmstadt University of Technology is pursuing a research project into the issue of electromechanical wheel brakes. In the course of this project a mechatronic wheel brake has been developed based on the principle of the partially lined disc brake; the new wheel brake is characterized by a novel force-transformation gear. In contrast to familiar prototypes this features a variable, adaptive gear ratio with which the characteristic of the motor is adapted to the stiffness characteristic of the friction brake. In terms of its static and dynamic properties the wheel brake is designed to resemble prototypes that require a more powerful motor for operation.
