Marketing Study Regarding the Consumers Behavior Towards the Auchan Hypermarkets from Romania

Abstract The main objectives of the research work consist in discovering the main consumption habits towards the Auchan hypermarket from Romania: the time spent for shopping, the average amount spent in the Auchan hypermarket, the frequency of buying, the other alternative hypermarket brands, the main reasons for choosing the Auchan hypermarket. The research method consists in verifying the hypotheses making use of statistical functions (descriptive statistics, T test, factor analysis). The gathered data was analyzed using the SPSS informatics program.

Strategic Planning Based on Consumers’ Decision Making Process towards Mobile Telecommunications Operators☆

Abstract The current research is based on the analysis of the factors that influence the buying decision, as they are described by Dubois & Jolibert, 1994 , Boier, 1994 , applied on the mobile telecommunications operators’ clients. These factors can be grouped in several categories such as: economic factors, social factors, cultural factors, psychological factors. The questionnaire based survey was made during March- April 2013 on a sample of 165 mobile telecommunications clients, with an error of 5%. Statistical methods used to interpret the gathered data were: descriptive statistics, t test, factor analysis. Hypotheses were created based on the results of the study, while the software used to obtain the results was SPSS, version 16.0 for Windows XP. This analysis comes up with solutions for further strategic planning of the operators based on the decision process of their consumers and the main elements that influence it.

Marketing Culture and Employee Responsibility Influence on Mobile Telecommunications Companies’ Turnover☆

Abstract The main question of this research is: “Do employees have an influence on the mobile telecommunications companies’ turnover?” Thus, this paper focuses on the important influence of the employees on the companys turnover, taking as example the Orange Romania Company. Correlation and regression functions are used to validate/invalidate the proposed hypotheses. However, the influence that the employees may have on the turnover of the mobile telecommunications companies can be explained by the concept of the marketing culture as an important part of the organizational culture. Strategies for Better Integrate Youngsters within Romanian Companies in the Context of Economic-financial Crisis

Abstract The economic-financial crisis affected also Romania, which after years of growth, is now in difficulty. Thus, in March 2009, the country takes a loan of almost 20 billion euro. Moreover, in May 2010, a 25% decrease in the salaries of the civil servants and a 15% decrease in pensions and unemployment allowances were decided. With the economic-financial crisis affecting the economies, the need for the best employees will remain the key issue for a long time to come. The main question of this research is “How can higher education and business environment come together in order to create better trained employees according to the demands of the current work market and taking into consideration the context of the economic financial crisis?” In order to answer to this research question, we developed some hypotheses, which will be tested on a sample made of the students in Management of the University of Craiova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The data will be analyzed making use of the statistical functions: descriptive statistics and factor analysis. Based on the results of this study, we will come up with strategies, which will have a further contribution to the stimulation of the economy.
