The value of Photovoltaic as an independent power supply is small, but the city`s carbon emissions reduction and for the reduction of fossil fuel use distributed power is the power source to a very high value. However, according to the weather conditions for solar power generation by power fluctuations because of the size distribution to be effective, the big swing for effectively controlling real-time monitoring should be made. But that depends on solar power generation solar radiation forecasts from the National Weather Service does not need to predict it, and this study, the diffuse sky radiation in the history of the solar radiation in the darkness of the clouds, thick and weather forecasts can be inferred from the atmospheric transmittance to announce this value is calculated to represent each weather forecast solar radiation and solar radiation predicted by substituting the expression And the measured solar radiation and CRM (Cloud Cover Radiation Model) technique with an expression of Kasten and Czeplak irradiation when compared to the calculated predictions were verified.

This study is on the spatial composition of accommodation area in accommodation barge. The accommodation barge which is used as living facilities for offshore plants` workers can be classified into Accommodation Work Barge, Accommodation Pipe Lay Barge and Multi-purpose Accommodation Barge. We study on the spatial composition of accommodation area in Accommodation Work Barge, most frequently used, through analyzing G.A drawings of the barges. The spatial composition has great influences into the convenience and amenity for workers` daily life in the accommodation area of accommodation barge. The spatial composition of accommodation area shows many characteristics not in horizontal arrangement on any deck but in vertical space arrangement on layers of decks. The particular types of vertical space composition can be classified into `Centralized Type` and `Dispersive Type`. These two types will be the basis of space planning for new accommodation barge.

Indoor air pollution has been a critical issue as a new environmental problem and a significant amount of research has been performed on the indoor air pollution in buildings as well us those in mean of transport such as automobiles, subways, and buses. The actual condition of indoor air pollution in ships, however, was not investigated. Because airtightness of a ship is very higher than a general building and the crew spend almost all the time in indoor space of the ship during underway, indoor air quality(IAQ) of the ship is very important for their comfortableness and health. In this paper, indoor air quality of a new ship is measured and analyzed for the improvement of IAQ in ships.

The purpose of this study is to propose new systems for improvement of coastal landscape management in Busan area. The coastal landscape management systems in Busan are divided into urban planning sector, coastal management sector and environmental preservation sector without any comprehensive lay or integrated management system. These findings indicate that the coastal landscape is in need of integrated management in the form of coastal management rather than urban planning because coastal landscape os different from urban landscape by nature. The coastal landcape management ordinance which is based on the Coastal Management Ant should be established and the special zoning system for costal landscape management is to be set up under this ordinance. Then the comprehensive landscape plan for Busan coastal area and the design guidelines for each zone are mandatory. Also Busan city government and the district office must have a responsible department, experts and coastal landscape review committees.

Recently, the number of design for open-spaces at waterfront, such as open-air restaurant and cafeteria, has been increasing to provide openness and natural environment of waterfront. However, when planning open-air restaurant and cafeteria, it is essential to investigate the climate characteristic of waterfront, especially wind environment, since the waterfront has a special quality of climate like low-temperature and strong wind which differs from downtown or inland. In this study, wind environments of Haeundae, Suyoungman, and Gwanganli, the famous waterfronts in Busan, were investigated for design of open-air restaurants and open cafeterias. The main results were as follows. 1) the waterfront area of Haeundae, Suyoungman, and Gwanganli is suitable for open-air restaurant and open cafeterias; and 2) the appropriate period for open space in this area is from the end of March to November.

This is a first and basic study for making Busan port more attractive. The study is intended to clear up the situation and problems of landscape of Busan port area from the viewpoint of landscape experts, citizen and visitors. To reach the goal an attitude comparative study has been conducted using a same questionnaire between landscape experts working in Busan city, Busan citizen and visitors to Busan port area. In questionnaire, firstly the situation of the whole landscape of Busan port area has been asked. The contents of questions on the situation of port landscape are satisfaction about port landscape, harmony between cityscape and portscape, images of portscape, effects of 25 portscape elements on portscape, problems of portscape, and ways of improving portscape. Secondly, each respondent has given answers freely on how to make Busan port area more attractive. As a result of this study there are several important differences of attitudes towards Busan portscape between experts, citizen and visitors. Especially there are some distinctive differences between attitudes of experts and citizen but the attitudes of citizen are similar to those of visitors. At the end of the study some proposals for making an improvement of Busan port landscape have been suggested on the basis of the results of this attitude comparative study.

In this paper we suggest optimal positioning algorithm for DER(distributed energy resource)s near ocean side by using Newton-Rhapson load flow calculation. By installing DERs within urban area, electric power can be effectively transmitted to each loads without constructing additional large scale power stations and transmission lines. Therefore, DERs have attracted worldwide attention as urban area energy sources. However, there are quite a few studies for estimation of power loss due to DERs` location change within urban area Hence, in this study, an optimal positioning scheme for DERs is proposed in order to minimizing electrical power loss.

This study is aiming at examining the possibilities to develop eco-friendly waterfront, and discusses characteristics of the organic worldview which has been emerged as new development or eco-friendly paradigm in recent science against the mechanical worldview of modem times. The orientation of waterfront development is characterized as unity, diversity, dynamics and mutuality. In addition, I examined the factors for waterfront design according to the locational, decorativeand visual properties of urbanarchitecture to find out concrete factors of its design. This study suggests the factors for waterfront design making use of organic properties, by examining the orientation for organic development of eco-friendly waterside environment and showing correlation between the factors of specific design, and their examples.

The reclaimed land has peculiar characteristic of nature environment unlike midtown or inland and also, in comparison with inland, has bad weather condition, such as low temperature, strong wind, excessive sunshine, and moisture involved in a salt. Therefore the case of developing water front needs understanding characteristic of weather environment mused by reclamation in detail and proper development and organized maintenance. If development which doesn`t investigate topographic and climate characteristic sufficiently is drove ahead, a rise of expense for energy and maintenance is going to be mused by deteriorating weather environmental, occurring a flaw of facility and calculating inaccurate capacity of facility. We looked into the weather state and drew up the standard weather data of the newport area in Busan which is reclaiming and developing now. In this research at the base qf the standard weather data, we calculate the dynamic peak loads for commerce, business and residence and then we utilize the results of the load calculation as basic information to determine facility capacity in the rear city of the newport area.
