The term active leisure has been used to define free-time physical activity. This paper analyzes this category from the following topics: the sayings and writings about active leisure in the academic environment; its relation to positivism and functionalism; the popularization of the term within the network of discourses aimed at biomedical control of free time made by population.

RITOS E RISCO NA PRÁTICA DO VÔO LIVRE

Hand Gliding is an adventurous activity in nature whose feature is flying by using the aerospace technology and meteorological knowledge. The objective was to understand the meanings given to risk from hang gliding, and the presence of rituals in that corporal practice. To that, appropriating ethnographic research, a study was performed by observing the people and interviewing them and also through images recorded in northwest of the Parana. The study analyzed the three phases of the ritual: takeoff, flight and landing. Concluding, those people transit between these two ambits (safety and risk), needing to establish rites for demarcation of that transition.

ESCÁRNIO DE CORPOS, CYBERBULLYING E CORRUPÇÃO DO LÚDICO

In this study we aim to define what is meant by bullying a cruel behavior, intrinsic in interpersonal relationships, in which the strongest person converts the most fragile in objects of fun and enjoyment. We has researched the cyberbullying in order to try to understand the practice of this type of crime in a virtual environment at the leisure-time of students. The study presented below was based on the documental research, supported by a critical review of the literature. Among the various ways in which occurs the cyberbullying, were selected communities in the social networking site Orkut. In the analysis, we have discussed the ways in which members of these communities practice in their free time the cyberbullying. The body is the major focus of the aggressions, whereby physical education classes reproduce the context that favors them, but it may also help in the cause and awareness about the problem. However, this deviant behavior in cyberbullying is part of whole cultural and social contexts of individuals.

Esportes na natureza e atividades de aventura: uma terminologia aporética

Este artigo analisa o conceito Esportes na natureza. Para tanto, por meio da hermeneutica dialetica, analisa sua logica interna. Considerando caracteristicas como risco, imprevisibilidade, aventura, natureza, tecnologia e tendencia historica, a analise encontrou coerencia, precisao e plasticidade no conceito de esportes na natureza. Porem, contrastando com a realidade, o termo esporte na natureza nao abrange todas as praticas significativas (exclui atividades nao-esportivas e aquelas que ocorrem em areas urbanas). Portanto, o estudo desenvolve a inclusao desse termo em uma terminologia mais abrangente.

Sport on indigenous lands in the Paraná State: elements for a public policy

Este artigo responde as seguintes questoes: Para as populacoes indigenas do Parana o que signifi cam as praticas corporais esportivas no lazer? Como eles interagem suas praticas locais com as manifestacoes nao indigenas? Como podemos pensar politicas a partir das praticas sociais e do pensamento amerindio? Em termos metodologicos, desenvolvemos pesquisa-acao junto as populacoes Guarani, Xeta e Kaingang. Foram realizados inventarios “in loco”, consultando liderancas sobre necessidades e potencialidades esportivas de cada comunidade. Tambem realizamos, em articulacao com este publico, acoes de formacao de liderancas esportivas, construcao de festivais, jogos estaduais e acoes colaborativas de revitalizacao da cultura corporal desses povos. Os resultados apontam que a pratica de hibridacao cultural e recorrente em cada povo, mas com usos e ressignifi cacoes especifi cas para cada terra indigena. Dentre as praticas corporais, o esporte e o elemento mais recorrente na interacao multicultural, mas a pintura corporal, as lutas e as dancas sao eleitas para marcar a identidade da etnia junto a lingua e ao artesanato. Concluimos que os povos participantes do estudo vem no esporte dois mecanismos: a) ressignifi cacao de suas praticas historicas; b) dialogo intercultural com a sociedade nao indigena. Se o conhecimento deve se voltar ao interesse publico, sugerimos que as politicas da area se pautem nessa intencionalidade nativa.
