Embedded hybrid controller with programmable analog circuit

Crossbar network for automatic analog circuit synthesis

Automatic synthesis of digital circuit is mostly solved, at a well defined boundary conditions. Algorithm of a digital topology generating can be performed. From traditional discrete electronic parts an analog circuit implementation is almost impossible, because analog integrated circuits configurable through a digital interface already exist. Automatic synthesis of analog circuits can be important, because are through a digital interface configurable analog integrated circuits. All these, and increasing processing performance of computers are new approaches to be made. Such synthesis may be important not only in the synthesis of discrete components, but circuit modules can be used, whether the case of configurable analog circuitry system synthesis. In engineering practice the commonly used brute force method is very resource-intensive process. The present article shows an optimization method by which the purely theoretical possibilities are considerably reduced thereby it increases the rate of synthesis.

To achieve circuit robustness by co-operation of FPAA and embedded microcontroller

The cooperation of the analog and digital circuits and the embedded controllers as well as their industrial use and technical application have always been in the focus of our interest. In reconfigurable systems the effectiveness and quality of the analog circuit system can be maintained and modified by circuit or by changing the single element values. There are further advantages of the programmable analog circuit applications; more compact, more reliable, more flexible systems can be produced with better performance. It is especially beneficial if for programming we modify the function of a programmable analog circuit either giving a new topology or a new component parameter using the flexibility of the microcontroller.

The FPAA realization of analog predictive circuit

The programmable analog circuit (field-programmable analog array), as a new component and a new technology appeared some twenty years ago. As a result of the continuous development, these devices programmed on a digital surface make an analog circuit topology with component parameters also given as programmable. FPAAs can be used for the realization of different functional units, circuits, circuit elements. The advantage of FPAAs in the field of reconfigurable circuit planning is significant. It is beneficial in self-developing circuit applications. In microcontroller environment we can use these FPAA circuit in different useful application as an predictive-, and a characteristic prediction circuit solution. We describe a control solution of an industrial machine control as a demonstration of applicability of microcontroller and FPAA circuit cooperation.

The effect of cyclic thermal stresses in the life of PET shrink's heating body

An automatic device carries out the size-reducing shrinking of polyethylene (PET) bottles using a heating technology featuring the ¿shape memory¿ polyethylene. In the device a lever pushes the bottle in the furnace at a temperature of 800-1300°C then it presses and shrinks it. We have a dual aim when examining the furnace. On one hand, our aim is to determine the relationship between weariness (the number of operation, time of operation) and electric resistance. Its practical function is to justify customer complaints via resistance measuring. Another purpose of our measurements is to offer such a controlling procedure that provides the longest life time under given circumstances in case of a given furnace.

LED displaying on moving mechanical parts

During the daily activity we fund huge application in there we us the point-raster like displaying. We use the physiological parameters of human eyes. So we can use discreet light sources as the basic elements of visible picture or simple an alpha-numerical script. And depend of the environmental parameters from the two dimensional space-discreet-, and mostly in time-discreet driving we can a continues images see. For this necessaries an enough high resolution two dimensional matrix-display, there are made from LCD or LED technologies. In this issues we propose and classifying such methods by there on moving mechanical parts we can displaying images with any bright light emitted diodes with cooperation an acceleration sensor and a microcontroller [1] [2].
