The dynamic frequency characteristics of industrial electric power network is Analyzed when external faults occurs. It reveals the active power gap, adjusting effect parameters and other related factors how to affect the frequency. Appropriate model is build about Tianjin Sinopec Company. Power transition process under external faults is simulated by PSASP. It proves the correctness of the conclusions. Above all, it is good for taking measures to ease lowering speed of frequency, change the steady-state value of frequency, and improving the safety and stability of industrial electric power network.

The importance of the distribution system is mainly described, which is one of the three major parts of the power system. To summarize the conventional reliability algorithms, aiming at their shortcomings and then putting forward two significant intelligence algorithms: fuzzy evaluation and artificial intelligence method, followed by a brief description about how they achieve their computational aims and some of advantages and disadvantages about them. Finally, the future development of distribution reliability evaluation was prospected. It has some reference value for researches who are engaged in doing reliability work in power system.

The condition of thermal power plant of some SINOPEC is simply introduced first, after choosing its receiving operation, enterprise internal power’s dynamic frequency characteristic mechanism has been analyzed under external fault condition, and then arriving at a conclusion that the dynamic frequency characteristic has something to do with active power shortage and frequency adjustment effect modulus of load. At last, having selected the reasonable failure mode and mathematical models in software PSASP7.0 to simulate this dynamic frequency characteristics curve of the system, we can verify the validity of the conclusion. The above is good for revealing the weak link of the plant in future and laying the foundation for finding the way to improve the reliability of the system. At the same time, it also has some reference value for other enterprise grid.
