Rodent tuber (Typhonium flagelliforme Lodd.) is a native Indonesian medicinal herb with high anticancer activity. Propagation of rodent tuber is hard to be achieved by using conventional methods. The purpose of this research is to optimize method and media for propagating rodent tuber through initiation, induction, multiplication, and acclimatization. Rodent tuber was obtained from Pekalongan, Indonesia. In vitro rodent tuber plantlets were induced through direct single node culture of tuber. Shoot induction was achieved on MS 1 mgL-1 2,4-D combined with 0.3 mgL-1 BAP and 1 mgL-1 NAA combined with 0.5 mgL-1. Induced shoots were initiated on MS media supplemented with (1, 0.5, 1.5 mgL-1) NAA and (1, 0.5, 0.5 mgL-1) BAP. Shoots were then multiplicated on MS media supplemented with (0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.5 mgL-1) NAA and 0.5 mgL-1 BAP to investigate the effect of NAA concentrations on shoot proliferation. Plantlets were acclimatizated on husk and compost (1:1) media and post-acclimatizated on husk, soil, and compost (1:1:1) media. The highest percentage of viable induced explants (66.67%) was obtained on MS 1 mgL-1 2,4-D and 0.3 mgL-1 BAP. The maximum number of shoots obtained in the initiation stage (14 shoots) was achieved on MS media supplemented with 0.5 mgL-1 NAA and 0.5 mgL-1 BAP. The maximum number of shoots obtained in the multiplication stage (8.2 ± 3.19) was achieved on MS media supplemented with 0.5 mgL-1 NAA and 0.5 mgL-1 BAP. The survival rate of rodent tuber during acclimatization period was 100% and during post-acclimatization period was 58%. Rodent tuber has been successfully multiplicated through direct organogenesis in vitro.

The present study was carried out to determine levels of inorganic compounds contained in the ground water and Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration result. The data in groundwater samples was collected from Bekasi, Tangerang and Jakarta in Indonesia. A total of 30 samples were collected and analyzed for the determine Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Cyanide (CN) and Lead (Pb). The results of the study revealed that in groundwater, the average of Cd 0.0058 mg / l, Mn 1.5233 mg / l, Cr 0.0127 mg/l, Pb 0.0060 mg / l, and CN 0.0040 mg / l. The level of RO result were: Cd 0.0027 mg / l, Mn 0.1767 mg / l, Cr 0.0024 mg / l, Pb 0.0021 mg / l, and CN 0.0023 mg / l . This means that Cd and Mn in ground water were higher than the values recommended by PAK-EPA and WHO or the standard of Indonesian Ministry of Health. But after filtration Reverse Osmosis (RO) Mn and Cd levels decreased to levels below the standardized value. By comparing of mean in MANOVA and nonparametric MANOVA in α=5%, there are differ...

The relationship between dependent variable and independent variables can be described using linear regression model. The model equation is called global model. But if the data is a spatial data, where the differences of locations affect the model, then global model is no longer relevant. One of method can be used to analysis for spatial data is Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR). GWR is local model that represents model for each location. DKI Jakarta is a province with the highest human development index value in Indonesia. The HDI value is calculated based on some basic components of quality of life. In this paper, we analyze the HDI using multiple linear regression and we get a global model. But because DKI Jakarta consists of some regions with different condition, then we also used spatial data analysis methods. Then we apply GWR method to analyze the HDI in Jakarta. On the GWR model acquired local models for each location. We compared two models of global and local, the results showed that the ...

The need of data monitoring of student attendance by tapping on the machine Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) provides several advantages. But sometimes there are some students do not attend class after tapping. It is a problem faced by university because of the lack of correspondence between the numbers of students who are tapping the number of students who attend class. Because of these problems, then conducted research on monitoring of correspondence between the number of students tapping on RFID machine with the number of students who attend class. In addition, from the observed data, can also be used to monitor the attendance of students at Bina Nusantara university using control charts. The long-term goal of this research is to reduce the level of fraud and monitor the attendance of students in class. The sample in this study are 04PHT (Computer Science), 04 PJM (Information Systems), 02 PBS (Civil Engineering), 02 PEU (Graphic Design New Media), and 04 PBO (Marketing Communication). From this research results, concluded that the p control chart, for the absence of the characteristic number of students in the fifth classes under controlled conditions. Furthermore, concluded also that the p control chart, to characteristic number of students cheating in class 04 PHT courses basic communication networks and systems of data under controlled conditions. A process is said to be controlled if the value is within the interval statistics UCL (Upper Control Limit) and LCL (Lower Control Limit).

The water quality at a location is influenced other locations. Characteristics of groundwater quality in some locations were spatially auto correlated. Such as in Jakarta, Indonesia, if the water source in one location is polluted so can lead to polluted water sources at a different location which close together. This research was analyzing the content of inorganic compounds in Jakarta, Indonesia. The analysis was performed using spatial methods to obtain the relationship among locations of ground water quality. The samples were ten locations in East, West, Central, North, and South Jakarta. Spatial methods conclude that there were spatial autocorrelation in inorganic compounds of groundwater in Jakarta, specifically in Cadmium (Cd). Moran’s I test shows that there are dependencies of Cd among 10 samples at α = 10%. Meanwhile, Mn, CN, Cr, and Pb haven’t dependencies. By LISA test, there were the first sample in West Jakarta and seventh sample in East Jakarta which significant affects with other location at α = 5%. P value in area west, north, and east of Jakarta were lower than others. So, the samples in these areas have dependencies than in south area.
