Research on information system for natural disaster monitoring and assessment

The serious natural disasters such as flood and earthquake result in great loss to human every year. It is of great significance to monitor and assess the situation of a disaster with information system based on GPS, RS, GIS and so on. In this article the construction of information system for serious natural disaster monitoring and assessment is studied, which uses the dynamic GPS, Airborne SAR, GIS, parallel computation remote sensing image processing technology and so on. The whole system can be divided into two parts, i.e. the air part and the ground part. The prominent advantage of the system is its approximate real time processing of the disaster situation information. We introduce the elements of the two parts and their function in the system in detail. And the key technology to implement the quick image processing is also introduced in detail. At last the application efficiency is introduced.

Research and implementation of the sustainable development information sharing Web service system of China

The sustainable development information sharing Web service system of China aims at building a network system, developing a network and service platform, supplying an integrated solution of data management, publication and service for the sustainable development information sharing of China. It can be divided into three parts. The first part is an integrated database platform of common fundamental geographical information and thematic geographic information, the second is a data management and maintenance platform based on client/server structure. And the last part is an information publication and service platform based on browser/server structure. This paper describes the frame, functions of this Web service system in details, and some key technologies used are stressed.

Service-oriented geographic information sharing and service architecture for Digital City

Geographic information sharing and service plays an important role in the implement of Digital City. The traditional development model that is based on common geographic information system can not accommodate for the geographic information sharing and service in distributed web environment. In this article, we firstly introduce the requirement of the distributed geographic information sharing and service and the character of service-oriented software architecture. Then the principle of the service-oriented architecture and the service-oriented geographic information sharing and service software architecture for digital city is put forward which includes GIS service, called VGS (Virtual GIS Services) and AGS(Application GIS Services) which reflects the operation service upper the VGS. At last, the web service based model integration in SOA is introduced. And an application example is stated to demonstrate the advantage and application model of the service-oriented geographic information sharing and service software architecture, which is the ocean current numerical simulation model call based on web service. The development and deployment of the model services example was used in Xiamen City, China.

Study on ocean stereo monitoring information data warehouse

In the Fujian region of the ocean dynamical environment real-time stereo monitoring system of Taiwan Strait and adjacent maritime region, multiple monitoring data such as remote sensing data, structured data can be produced by the stereo monitoring net from airspace, ocean surface and so on. The storage, management, analysis and service of the monitor information are the key parts of the whole system. Aiming at resolving the information organization and integrated analysis of the monitoring information, this paper studies the characteristics, design and application of the data warehouse of ocean stereo monitoring information. Firstly, the characteristics and application model of the data warehouse of ocean solid monitoring information is introduced from the aspects of spatial, temporal, subject-oriented, multiple resource and decision-making oriented. Then the subject classification, design of concept module of the data warehouse of ocean solid monitoring information is introduced. The whole monitoring data warehouse is divided into 5 subjects such as ocean waves monitoring subject, ocean ecological environment monitoring subject and so on. The Star Schema is used to demonstrate the multi-dimension character of the ocean monitoring information. Finally, the data warehouse of ocean solid monitoring information based information service realization strategies is studied from the C/S architecture and B/S architecture

Agent communication based SAR image parallel processing

Airborne SAR remote sensing image has the characteristic of large data volume and computation burden, so the processing needs very large computer memory and stronger computation ability. Based on the introduction of the SAR image processing procedure, this paper studies the SAR image processing using computer parallel computation technology. The parallel processing mechanism is based on the parallel computer cluster operation and the large virtual shared memory technology. In the Client/Server architecture based SAR image parallel system, agent based network communication plays an important role in the computer performance monitor and burden distribution. In the end, the application of the SAR image parallel processing system in the disaster monitor and assessment system is introduced. The application result illustrates the high efficiency of the system and the feasibility of our research

But the airborne SAR remote sensing image has the property of large volume data, so the processing needs very large computer memory and strong computation ability. In this paper, based on the analysis of the SAR image processing procedure, we study the SAR image processing method using computer parallel computation technology, which is based on the parallel computer cluster operation and the large virtual computer memory sharing technology. We also introduce the application of the SAR image parallel processing system in the disaster monitor and assessment to validate the high efficiency of the system and the feasibility of our research.

Construction of the sustainable development information service system of China

The rapid developments of the application of GIS and INTERNET technology makes sustainable development information sharing and service through Internet possible. In this paper we first analyze the advantage and great significance of the sustainable development information service through INTERNET in China. Then the architecture of the Chinese sustainable development information service system is introduced, which is comprised of a master service center, four distributed slave service centers, a series of standard and software systems and so on. The key technology of the system is also stated, which includes the distributed information search technology and the distributed geographic information issue technology. The application of the system has validated the feasibility of our research achievement.
