The purpose of this paper is toexamine the moderating effect of group culture on the relationship between personality traits and customer-oriented behavior in the health tourism hospitals.This study involved 343 nurses in the 13 health tourism hospitals in Malaysia.Administered on-site questionnaire survey was used as the main method of data collection.Hierarchical regression analy sis wasperformed and found statistical significant relationship between personality traits and customer-oriented behavior as well as positive moderating effects of group culture.

Abstract Womens participation in the paid workforce is one of the most significant changes for the last century. Hence, significant progress has been achieved by women with their increase movements into the occupation. The proportion of women in management has increased. However, the proportion of women in decision making especially in public sector still low. Therefore, a survey have been conducted to investigate whether there is a relationship between work-life balance and gender stereotypes among women at public sector. This study has been analyzed the experiences of 63 female public service at Perak State Secretariat, Ipoh. The quantitative method was applied to analyze the data via questionnaire by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 20.0. Finding showed that work-life balance and gender stereotypes have significant relationship toward barriers for upward career advancement among women at Perak State Secretariat, Ipoh.

The purpose of this paper is to provide a conceptual analysis of group culture and work behavior in the health tourism hospitals. This paper applies social information processing theory to propose the research framework of group culture and work behavior. Our conceptual analysis suggests that individuals who work in an organization with group culture are more likely to engage in excellent work behavior whereas individuals who work in an organization without group culture are less likely to engage in excellent work behavior. Purpose – The objective of this study is to examine the factors that contribute to workplace violence in one of the higher education institutes that is based in Malaysia.Design/methodology/approach – The papers approach is to use a survey, SPSS and multiple regression analysis.Findings – The findings show that there is a positive significant relationship between the working environment and workplace violence, while the other factors, co‐worker relationship and management style, show no relationship with workplace violence.Originality/value – The study will improve management understanding of which factors affect workplace violence. By increasing their knowledge on the above, this can assist the management to take preventive action to minimize workplace violence in the organization.
