In order to develope high concentrationyield ozonizer, superposed discharge type ozonizer using overlap of silent discharge and internal electrode of mesh type has been designed and manufactured. It consists of three electrodes(central electrode, internal electrode and external electrode) and double gaps(gap between central electrode and internal electrode, gap between internal electrode and external electrode). Therefore, ozone is generated by overlapping silent discharges generated between the gaps respectively for which the AC high voltages applied to the internal electrode and the external electrode has a phase difference and for which the central electrode is a ground Ozone generation characteristics proportional to mesh of internal electrode by increasing of discharge electrode and controlling of discharge power density. As a result, the in maximum ozone concentration, generation, and yield can be obtained 17,720[ppm], 5.4[g/h], and 205[g/kwh] respectively.

Recently, ozone has been utilized in various fields thanks to its effectiveness, and has been in ever-growing demand. Accordingly, various kinds of ozonizers have been examined among researchers. This paper is concerned with developing the cascade-type plate electrode ozonizer(PTO) for improvements of indoor air, water supply and drainage and investigating its characteristics. Four types of ozonizers have been devised according to their size, numbers and arrangement Electric discharge area of each type of ozonizer has the same size of 22,400[], and its discharge power has the maximum 40[w]. As the result of having studied ozone generation ozone concentration and ozone yield characteristics of each ozonizer, we found that the type of ozonizer in which eight plates were arranged into cascade type(PTO-4) was the most excellent one.

Summary form only given, as follows. The efficiency of ozonizer using silent discharge plasma is very low compare with the theoretical value. Therefore, many researches have been carried out in order to improve the efficiency of ozonizers. But we cannot expect to improve the efficiency without changing the process of ozone generation. To improve the ozone yield, a new type of multi-discharge ozonizer is proposed that it can be consisted with three kinds of superposed silent discharge type ozonizer in accordance with applying method of power source which has 180 degree phase difference. A superposed discharge type ozonizer is equipped with three electrodes (the central, internal and external electrodes), and it is composed of two discharge spaces( discharge space between central electrode and internal electrode, discharge space between internal electrode and external electrode). Ozone is generated by overlapping of each superposed discharge type ozonizer, which silent discharge plasma come from two discharge spaces respectively.

The ozone generation is commonly made with silent discharge method using quartz glass dielectric. In this paper, using dielectric to instead of the traditional quartz glass dielectric to improve the system efficiency is presented. The dielectric was manufactured as tube shape (Internal diameter Outside diameter: ) using 99% ceramic. The characteristics of dielectric discharge and ozone generation were studied of experiments with variation of discharge power, discharge electrode space and rate of flow for supplied gas (/Air). As the experimental results, in the same discharge space, the ozone concentration continuously increased with input power increasing, and ozone yield increased until saturation happened. Also, the expended power increased with discharge space extended due to discharge power increased. In additional, the ozone concentration of oxygen ozone was higher than air that was observed when using oxygen ozone in proposed experiments.

In this paper, complex discharge type ozonizer with a screw type electrode has been designed and manufactured for environmental improvement using low power and high efficency ozoniazer. The complex discharge type ozonizer is equipped with three electrodes{central electrode(CE), internal electrode(IE) and external electrode(EE)}. Ozone of the complex discharge type ozonizer is generated by superposition of silent discharge and surface discharge in discharge space as a screw type CE and IE are respectively applied to AC high voltage of inverse-polarity has phase difference, EE is common electrode. In this time, when oxygen has been used as supplied gas, the maximum values of ozone concentration, ozone generation and ozone yield were obtained as 8,334[ppm], 3,249[mg/h] and 65.3[g/kwh].

Tri-acetyl-cellulose(TAC) film surface was modified by atmospheric-pressure plasma technique to obtain the hydrophilic functional groups and improve the contact angle. TAC film was modified with N2 plasma ionized in dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) reactor under atmospheric pressure. We measured the change of the contact angle and the surface energy with respect to the plasma treatment conditions such as plasma treatment power, discharge gap and N2 gas flow rate. As the plasma treatment speed of 100[mm/sec], the plasma treatment power of 1.5[kW], discharge gap 2[mm] and the gas flow rate 140[LPM], the best contact angle and the highest surface energy were obtained. The degree of hydrophilization depended strongly on the plasma-treating time and discharge power.

This paper presents a simple electronic starter for single phase induction motor (SPIM). It replaces the centrifugal switch in the auxiliary winding circuit of the capacitor start type SPIM. The electronic starter observes the auxiliary winding voltage, and disconnects the auxiliary winding when the motor gets close to its rated speed. Because of its possibly fluttering contacts of the centrifugal switch which mounted on the conventional SPIM, the reliability of SPIM can be reduced. Developed new electronic starter has no mechanical contacts. Therefore, the reliability and the performance of SPIM can be improved. The operational principle of the proposed electronic starter is explained, and illustrated with experimental results.

In this paper, an automatic escalator system is manufactured for concentrate lighting efficiency and maintenance improvement technology of street light used a solar condenser. It can be linked with street light used a solar condenser, improved concentrate lighting efficiency by regulating concentrate light angle of a solar condenser. It can be remove and attach to solar condenser and street light. By developing street light used a solar condenser with an automatic escalator system, the lighting efficiency of street light and the concentrate lighting efficiency of solar condenser are High. The maintenance fee of street light significantly reduce and traffic congestion during working hours of street light is prevent.

When faults occur in the power equipment that is used a great deal in industrial sites, it may lead to fatal accidents that cause losses both economically and in manpower, In this paper, the effect of particle impact on the partial discharge of SF? gas was measured by simulating a partial discharge following the type of fault found in the GIS using SF? insulating gas as the insulating material. A spectrum analysis was performed on the radiate electromagnetic waves emitted upon partial discharge by using the UHF insulation diagnosis method. This subject of this study is insulation diagnosis by the measurement of radiate electromagnetic waves when particles exist in the GIS and power equipment insulated with SF? gas.

For carnation productivity improvement, compact-low cost discharge lamp type ozonizer using pulse power source is designed and manufactured. This paper describes the discharge characteristics and the ozone generation characteristics with variation of the output voltage of pulse power source, the quantity of flowing air and the operating number of ozonizer. The important conclusions are as follows. The discharge voltage and current values are proportional to the output voltage of pulse power source. The ozone concentration and generation are proportional to the output voltage of pulse power source and the number of ozonizer. The maximum value of the ozone concentration and generation of the discharge lamp type ozonizer can be obtained 890[ppm] and 59.7[mg/h] respectively. In the carnation productivity house, when the discharge lamp type ozonizer is used the carnation is good quality in the uniformity of the carnation stalk thickness and increased the productivity through improvement of the air and the soil.
