Hydrophilic Interpolymer Associates as a Satellite Product of Reactions of Formation of Interpolymer Complexes

Ibragim Suleimenov; Dina Shaltykova; Zdenka Sedlakova; Grigoriy A. Mun; Nikolay Semenyakin; Daulet Kaldybekov; Polina Obukhova

It is shown, that reaction between polyacrylic acid and polyvinyl caprolactam leads to formation of wide range of different products. Besides classic interpolymer complexes and physically cross-linked hydrogels, the intermediates are formed. Those intermediates, particularly, include hydrophilic interpolymer associates, i.e. semistable polymer networks existing in dynamical mode, which is characterized by continuous process of formation/destroying of hydrogen bonds. Other intermediate products are relatively stable fragments of the polymer networks or associates stabilized by hydrogen bonds.

Influence of combined magnetic and electric fields on the behaviour of polyelectrolyte hydrogel

Ibragim Suleimenov; Vladimir B. Sigitov; Sarkyt E. Kudaibergenov; Alexander G. Didukh; Tatiana S Fryasinova; Esen A. Bekturov

The behaviour of polyelectrolyte gel under the influence of combined electric and magnetic fields has been studied. It is shown that the rate of gel contraction stimulated by an electric field can be significantly changed under the action of an external magnetic field. A qualitative interpretation of the observed phenomenon is given.

The Impact of Ion Exchange on Nature of Polyacrylic Acid and Nonionic Polymer Complex Formation

Ibragim Suleimenov; Grigoriy A. Mun; Sergei Panchenko; Polina Obukhova

This paper provides substantiation for division of interpolymer complexes, that are stabilized by hydrogen bonds formed between polyacrylic acid and non-ionic polymer into strong-and low-complexing couples, and elucidates the nature of observed differneces. It is shown, that the formation of complex in presence of low molecular salt depends not only on the energy and number of hydrogen bonds, but on the degree of swelling of polyacid coil too. It is established, that the effect of low-molecular salt on the degree of swelling of the polyacid coil is not unambiguous. The size of the coil is increased by the salt adding at relatively low concentrations as a result of local ion exchange.

Some properties of asymmetric Hopfield neural networks with finite time of transition between states

Ibragim Suleimenov; Grigoriy A. Mun; Sergey Panchenko; Ivan Pak

Abstract There were implemented samples of asymmetric Hopfield neural networks which have finite time of transition from one state to another. It was shown that in such systems, various oscillation modes could occur. It was revealed that the oscillation of the output signal of certain neuron could be treated as extra logical variable, which describes the state of the neuron. Asymmetric Hopfield neural networks are described in terms of ternary logic. Such logic may be employed in image recognition procedure.

Voting procedures from the perspective of theory of neural networks

Ibragim Suleimenov; Sergey Panchenko; Oleg Gabrielyan; Ivan Pak

Abstract It is shown that voting procedure in any authority can be treated as Hopfield neural network analogue. It was revealed that weight coefficients of neural network which has discrete outputs −1 and 1 can be replaced by coefficients of a discrete set (−1, 0, 1). This gives us the opportunity to qualitatively analyze the voting procedure on the basis of limited data about mutual influence of members. It also proves that result of voting procedure is actually taken by network formed by voting members.

The Theory of Thermal Desalination Systems Based on Sewed Polymer Networks

Dina Shaltykova; Grigoriy A. Mun; Ibragim Suleimenov; Olzhas Erezheev; Sergey Panchenko; Sherniyaz Kabdushev

It is shown that it is possible to implement analog of a dialyzer based on sewed polymer networks, working on the basis of the temperature difference between two reservoirs containing low molecular weight salt. The result of such dialyzer using is enrichment of one those solutions by low molecular component and depletion of the other. It is shown that for providing the necessary temperature, it is possible to use energy of solar radiation.

QUANTITATIVE THEORY OF EFFECTIVENESS OF HIGHEST EDUCATION: ROLE OF INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS

Ibragim Suleimenov; Dina Shaltykova; Polina Obukhova; Anastasiya Stentsova; Kamilya Suleymenova

The influence of interpersonal communications inside and outside a University on effectiveness of education is investigated. It is shown, that low effectiveness of direct (traditional) education may be compensated by increasing of communicational activeness of students and stimulation of interpersonal communications. Hysteresis dependence of quality of education on communication activeness of students takes place at low effectiveness of direct education. The fact allows explaining of modern situation in post-soviet countries, particularly, in Kazakhstan, when sufficient efforts of the government gives no evident results in respect to increasing of education quality.

Influence of Hydrophilic Interpolymer Associates on the Formation of Interpolymer Complexes

Ibragim Suleimenov; Dina Shaltykova; Grigoriy A. Mun; Polina Obukhova; Sergey Panchenko; Nalik Isembergenov

It is shown that when the conditions of formation of interpolymer complexes are met, another little-known product of the interaction of polymer - hydrophilic interpolymer associates are formed, representing structures, existing in the dynamic mode. Such associates occupy an intermediate position between the classical inter-polymer complexes and non-interacting polymers.
