A equipe de enfermagem e Maslow: (in)satisfações no trabalho

This text tries to understand the Nursing team and their (dis)satisfactions in the work. We consider the association with the theory of basic human needs of Abraham Maslow as a way to systemize and to comprehend the recurrent situations and the day-by-day Nursing issues. The necessities are structuralized hierarchically in physiological, security, social, auto-esteem and auto-accomplishment indicating the degree of satisfaction (from the disease to the fullness) of an individual or group. The advantage of this approach consists of being able to use the solid, depth and rich Maslow theory in concrete and particular situations of the Nursing team.Este texto busca compreender as insatisfacoes da equipe de Enfermagem no trabalho. Propomos a associacao com a teoria das necessidades humanas de Abraham Maslow como um meio de sistematizar e entender as situacoes recorrentes ao dia-a-dia e pratica da Enfermagem. As necessidades estruturam-se hierarquicamente em fisiologicas, seguranca, social, auto-estima e auto-realizacao indicando o grau de satisfacao (da enfermidade a plenitude) de um individuo ou grupo. A vantagem desta abordagem consiste em podermos utilizar da solidez, profundidade e riqueza da teoria de Maslow em situacoes concretas e particulares da equipe de Enfermagem.

Gerência do cuidado de enfermagem em cenários hospitalares: a construção de um conceito

Este estudo teve como objetivo construir e apresentar a definicao teorica do conceito de gerencia do cuidado de enfermagem em cenarios hospitalares, a partir de base literaria especifica. Optou-se pela utilizacao das estrategias para construcao de conceitos da Analise de Conceito, as regras de formacao de conceito da Analise Arqueologica e a Analise Lexical como referencial teorico-metodologico. A operacionalizacao das estrategias e das regras de formacao de conceito possibilitou a construcao do conceito gerencia do cuidado de enfermagem em cenarios hospitalares. O conceito construido apresentou, em sua natureza, a capacidade de integrar dialeticamente os aspectos relativos ao saber-fazer do cuidar e gerenciar. A definicao teorica do conceito Gerencia do Cuidado de Enfermagem em Cenarios Hospitalares deu significado ao termo, no contexto inicial de construcao de uma teoria, a Gerencia do Cuidado de Enfermagem em Servicos de Saude.The objective of this study was to build and present a theoretical definition of the concept of nursing care management in hospital settings, based on specific literature. We chose to use Concept Analysis strategies for building concepts, the rules of Archeological Analysis for forming concepts, and Lexical Analysis as the theoretical-methodological framework. The operationalization of the strategies and rules for forming the concept permitted the construction of the concept of nursing care in hospital settings. The constructed concept presented, by its nature, the capacity to form a dialectic integration of the aspects relative to the knowing-doing of care and management. The theoretical definition of the concept of Nursing Care Management in Hospital Settings assigned meaning to the term, in the initial context of the construction of a theory of Nursing Care Management in Health Services.

O significado do profae segundo os alunos: contribuição para a construção de uma política pública de formação profissional em saúde

The objective of this qualitative research was to identify the meaning of The Nursing Worker Professionalization Project (Projeto de Profissionalizacao dos Trabalhadores da Area da Enfermagem) according to the students of the professional qualification courses and to contribute to the evaluation process of the implementation and development of these courses. Ninety students who participated in both courses took part in the study. The method was participative, using the application of the focus group technique. The thematic analysis of its content evidenced that the project was the opportunity that these individuals had to initiate or to improve their positions in the Nursing job market, amplifying their possibilities for employment. The continuity of the studies allowed for the development of group consciousness, solidarity exercises, mutual co-operation, and team work. As a result, the results may contribute to the evaluation process of the project, since they have demonstrated the importance of the social-political arena of the project in the light of the meaning attributed by a percentage of the social agents involved in its execution.

Profile of students registered in nursing auxiliary and technician courses of the Nursing Worker Professionalization Project (PROFAE) in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil

Este trabajo busca presentar el perfil de los alumnos que ingresaron a los cursos de Calificacion Profesional para Auxiliar de Enfermeria y complementacion para Tecnico de Enfermeria del Proyecto de Profesionalizacion de los trabajadores del Area de Enfermeria. Esta es una investigacion cuantitativa, desarrollada en el Estado de Rio de Janeiro, en el periodo de agosto del 2004 a enero del 2005, con aplicacion de 1.400 cuestionarios. Los datos fueron tratados con estadistica descriptiva, bajo la forma de frecuencia simple y porcentaje. Despues de tabular los datos, fueron divididos en las siguientes categorias: datos sociodemograficos, formacion escolar, perfil familiar, habitos, actuacion profesional, piso salarial, expectativas acerca de PROFAE y de la enfermeria, dificultades para participar del Proyecto y proceso de ensenanza-aprendizaje. Los alumnos/ trabajadores formados por el PROFAE tienden a mejorar la calidad de la atencion hospitalaria y ambulatoria, contribuyendo con la dinamica del mercado de trabajo en el sector de la salud.This paper aims to present a profile of students registered in the Professional Training Courses for Nursing Auxiliaries and Complementation Courses for Nursing Technicians of the Nursing Worker Professionalization Project - PROFAE. De Florence Nightingale às perspectivas atuais sobre o cuidado de enfermagem: a evolução de um saber/fazer

El trabajo presenta una reflexion teorica sobre la evolucion del cuidado en el oficio de enfermeros a partir de los principios Nightingaleanos confrontados con las perspectivas actuales de algunos autores que vienen abordando esa tematica. Concluimos que las bases solidas lanzadas por Florence Nightingale estan permitiendo al oficio de enfermeros avanzar en estudios que legitiman y fundamentan el cuidado en cuanto esencia del saber y hacer de las enfermeras y enfermeros en sus variados campos de actuacion. Actualmente eses estudios indican el cuidado como objeto de teoria en dimensiones que alian aspectos internos y externos a la profesion, proponiendo y explorando temas que antes eran velados aunque presentes en el cotidiano de nuestra practica como el significado del cuerpo y sus formas de expresion en la interaccion entre quien cuida y quien es cuidado.

O cuidado de enfermagem familiar / exótico na unidade de internação psiquiática: do asilar para a reabilitação psicossocial

Study about the psychiatric cares of nursing developed in an internment unit of a university hospital of Rio de Janeiro. The study object was boarded with ethnographic approach, and the data interpreted for its approximation or distancing to the conceptual basis of the care and to the principles of the Psychiatric Reformation. In this period, some initiatives developed by the Direction of the Service of Nursing contributed to redirect the look and to act of the nursing team. The results indicate the coexistence of two dimensions of the care permeated by the ambient influences. The instrumental dimension showed a prominence of the sheltering assistant model, which overlaps itself of the transformations proposed. The expressive dimension indicated the valuation of the singularities of the customers and incorporated the diversity and the shelter of the professionals showing the demand most frequent of the clientele as basic for the transition of the mixing assistant model, to shelter and of rehabilitation, for a model based only on the psychosocial rehabilitation.

O confronto entre enfermagem e a realidade do macro ao micro universo acadêmico

Starting from a constructive and critical analysis, this study besides approaching the confrontation between the becoming professor and the reality of the great and small academic universe, discusses about ethics, esthetics and politics dimensions lived by the professors of the EEAN/UFRJ (Anna Nery School of Nursing/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) face the phenomenon of the death of two nursing professionals, caused by crime. It was adopted a theorical and methodological referential that was based in the conceptions of Denis and Weil. Concluding the study, it was considered that the basis for the optimization of the effectives and affectives paths in the seek of life with social justice, solidarity and political participation in the Nursing spaces, emerge, first of all, of the will and of the permanent efforts in the sense to valorized the approvement of the human quality of the students and the nursing professionals, most of all, ethical, sthetical and spiritual values.Desde un analisis critico y constructivo, ese estudio ademas de abordar la confrontacion entre el tornarse docente y la realidad del grand y pequeno universo academico, discute las dimensiones eticas, esteticas y politicas vividos por docentes de EEAN/UFRJ (Escuela Anna Nery de Enfermeria/Universidad Federal del Rio de Janeiro) delante del fenomeno de la muerte causada por crimen de dos profesionales de enfermeria. Fue adoptado un referencial teorico y metodologico procedente de las concepciones de Denis y Weil. Concluiendo, es considerado que, la basis para la optimazicion de caminos efectivos y afectivos en busca de vida con justicia social, solidariedad y participacion poltica en los espacios de Enfermeria, sobresale, primariamiente de la vontad y de permanentes esfuerzos en el sentido de la valoracion del perfeccionamiento de las cualidades humanas de los alumnos y profesionales de enfermeria, sobretodo, de los valores eticos, esteticos y espirituales.

Reflexões sobre pessoal de enfermagem e sua prática assistencial

This paper aims at analyzing the findings from nurses speeches who experience, in their assistance praxis, the problematic concerning professionals who work for the nursing service at a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro and the quality of services provided to clients. I hope to have contributed for a reflection on nursing matters from the view of those who experience them in a critical dialect perspective.
