The volatile leaf oils of Eucalyptus seeana Maiden, E. bancroftii (Maiden) Maiden, E. parramattensis C. Hall, E. amplifilia Naudin, E. tereticornis J. Smith, E. blakelyi Maiden, E. dealbata A. Cunn. ex. Schauer, E. dwyeri Maiden & Blakely, E. vicina L. A. S. Johnson & K. D. Hill, E. flindersii Boomsma, E. camaldulensis Dehnh. var camaldulensis, E. camaldulensis Dehnh. var. obtusa Blakely, E. rudis Endl., E. exserta F. Muell. and E. gillenii Ewart & L. R. Kerr, isolated by vacuum distillation, were analysed by GC-MS. Most species contained α-pinene (1.5–14%), 1,8-cineole (0–81%), p-cymene (0.6–28%) and aromadendrene/terpinen-4-ol (0.6–24%) as principal leaf oil components.

The volatile leaf oils of: Eucalyptus gamophylla F. Muell.; E. gongylocarpa Blakely; E. eudesmioides F. Muell. subsp. eudesmioides; E. tetragona (R. Br.) F. Muell; E. erythrocorys, F. Muell.; E. gittinsii Brooker & Blaxell; E. ebbanoenis Maiden; six specimens of E. camaldulensis Dehnh. var. camaldulensis; E. globulus Labill. subsp. globulus; E. globulus subsp. bicostata Maiden, Blakely & J. Simm.; E. globulus subsp. maidenii F. Muell.; and E. globulus subsp. pseudoglobulus Naudin ex. Maiden; isolated by vacuum distillation, were analysed by GC and by GC-MS. Many species contained α-pinene (1.0–47.2%), β-pinene (0–0.9%), 1,8-cineole (0.2–68.8%), p-cymene (0.2–20.1%), aromadendrene (0–15.0%), bicyclogermacrene (0–46.6%) and spathulenol (0.1–29.0%) as principal leaf oil components: all species contained torquatone.

The volatile leaf oils of Eucalyptus cylindriflora Maiden and Blakely, E. erythronema Turcz var. erythronema, E. erythronema Turcz var. marginata (Benth.) Domin, E. dielsii C.A. Gardner, E. stricklandii Maiden, E. carnei C.A. Gardner, E. kruseana F. Muell., E. brachyphylla C.A. Gardner, E. ewartiana Maiden, E. orbifolia F. Muell., E. websteriana Maiden, E. crucis Maiden subsp. crucis, E. caesia Benth. subsp. caesia and E. caesia, Benth. subsp. magna Brooker and Hopper, isolated by vacuum distillation, were analysed by GC-MS and by GC. All species contained α-pinene (5.1–49.6%), 1,8-cineole (4.2–75.1%), p-cymene (0.2–23.5%) and aromadendrene/terpinen-4-ol (0–26.8%) as principal leaf oil components.

The volatile leaf oils of Eucalyptus ‘nutans’, E. platypus Hook. var. platypus, E. platypus Hook. var. heterophylla Blakely, E. spathulata Hook. subsp. spathulata, E. spathulata Hook. subsp. grandiflora (Benth.) L.A.S. Johnson and D.F. Blaxell, E. steedmanii C.A. Gardner, E. eremophila (Diels) Maiden subsp. eremophila, E. salubris F. Muell. subsp. salubris, E. ravida L.A.S. Johnson and K.D. Hill, E. campaspe S. Moore, E. diptera C.R.P. Andrews, E. terebra L.A.S. Johnson and K.D. Hill, E. doratoxylon F. Muell., and E. decurva F. Muell, isolated by vacuum distillation, were analysed by GC and by GC-MS. All species contained α-pinene (2.8–32.5%), 1,8-cineole (8.2–51.2%), p-cymene (0.3–3.3%) and aromadendrene (2.3–19.0%) and bicyclogermacrene (0.3–28.6%) as principal leaf oil components.

Carr, E. bakeri Maiden, E. jutsonii Maiden, E. mannensis Boomsma subsp. mannensis,E. leptocalyx Blakely, E. scyphocalyx (F. Muell, ex Benth). Maiden & Blakely, E. platycorys Maiden & Blakely isolated by vacuum distillation, were analysed by GC-MS. Most species contained α-pinene (1.1–46%), 1,8-cineole (0.2–86.1%), aromadendrene/terpinen-4-ol (0–9.5%) and trans-pinocarveol (0.1–13.3%) as principal leaf oil components.
