Extragalactic X-Ray Astronomy from SAS–3

Herbert W. Schnopper; John Paul Delvaille

We discuss the variety of extragalactic X-ray sources and their emission mechanisms. A brief summary of X-ray data obtained with the rotating modulation collimator on SAS–3 together with radio/IR/visible spectral data is also presented.
