Mecanismo de Inferencia Sensible al Contexto para la Integración de Procesos de Negocio en Acreditación Académica

The aim of this paper is to propose an inference mechanism for business process integration based on contextual information associated with the execution domain. The methodology used by the proposed inference mechanism is composed of a context model, formalized through contextual situations based on organizational and operational constraints, and an algorithm, which have as main function to semantic and syntactically compare variables to determine their inclusion or not in the integration. The validation of the mechanism was performed using as case study the academic accreditation process. After applying the proposed inference mechanism it can be concluded that the selection of variants is improved for process integration, taking into account the contextual information. This helps in improving the correct management of the process information such as gathering and storage, among others.

Developing a Context Model of Process Variants for Business Process Integration

Since the integration of business process variants can be affected by contextual information the aim of this paper is to propose the development of a context model for Business Process Integration that considers the propagation of process changes towards process variants of the reference model. The method used to develop such a model focuses on following stages: (1) conceptualization of process variants, by building a related ontology, (2) identification of contextual elements, (3) definition of operational and organizational constraints; (4) formalization of contextual situations in the variants, and (5) construction of a reasoning mechanism for searching and retrieval of process variants. In order to validate the context model proposed we implemented both a prototype and a case study that consider each of the five stages proposed. The obtained results demonstrate the effectiveness of using this kind of approaches for business process integration.

Aproximación Metodológica Sensible y Adaptable al Contexto para la Integración de Procesos de Negocio en la Industria del Café

Se propone una aproximacion metodologica de la integracion de procesos de negocio, a traves de fases, herramientas y tecnicas, utilizando la informacion relacionada con el contexto y eventos historicos. Se pretende ofrecer una solucion bastante generica para ser aplicada en diversos dominios de ejecucion. El metodo empleado para alcanzar el objetivo se compone de las siguientes fases: i) especificacion del objetivo de integracion, ii) busqueda y recuperacion de procesos y iii) integracion y ejecucion. La validacion del metodo es realizada mediante un caso de estudio orientado al proceso de produccion del cafe Colombiano. Entre las principales conclusiones se tiene que durante la integracion de procesos es indispensable brindar informacion detallada del contexto y de los eventos historicos pues resultan determinantes al momento de realizar la integracion de procesos.

Vista Dinámica y Estática de la Coordinación de Procesos de Negocios: Una Aproximación basada en Restricciones

This article presents an approach for modelling the choreography of the Web services based on constraints in order to achieve a certain degree of automation in its definition. The definition from both the structural and component dynamics of the Web services choreography. This with the objective of doing its representation in terms of a problem of restriction verification. Results of process performance are compared with other approaches, showing that the model is appropriate to achieve automation in the description of the process choreography Web services.
